The service from Cody at Barrett's was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The speeds I am getting for rural internet with Xplornet are far better than their competition (I tried them out - terrible!), the technical and office support from Xplornet in Nova Scotia is incredible. I have been a customer for more than 10 years. Barrett's staff are experts in rural internet, and if there is a solution for your problem, they will find it. Many thanks.

As others have said, XploreNet can be challenging to deal with but my interaction with Barrett’s has been pleasant and helpful each time. The service was prompt, and when I did have difficulty reaching them by phone there was a logical reason why. They were quick to acknowledge this and make the appropriate adjustment.

Avoid, if possible. Check the work order assignment and ask to transfer the job to a different company. A very-very big person, physically not fit for the job, showed up at 4 pm and, obviously, just didn’t want to work the last hour before the long weekend. The appointment had to be rescheduled with Integrated Solutions (highly recommended, very professional company with great customer service) and the next day after the job was transferred to Integrated Solutions my internet is up and works great! Total time on the site - 1hr 30min, no problem for the right people .

Barrett's was contracted through xplornet to adjust our satellite. When the service person came out to the house, he offered to find out if he could convert our satellite connection to LTE. He was able to determine that a signal could be established, get the go ahead to do the installation, and finish the job very quickly. The work was very well done, and we are very pleased with how things went.

I will be sure to specifically request Barrett's for any work that needs to be done through xplornet in the future. I would highly recommend Barrett's.

My main concern with moving to the "country" was internet service. Jen in the office worked with my special circumstance (I needed a tempory service that could be transferred to my permanent residence after 3 months) and she found a solution! Then Cody showed up to do the initial installation (with the warning that hi speed was maybe going to be an issue) but he found the hi speed I was looking for (nneded!!) ... there are been NO issue with uploads and downloads. Netflix works perfectly!! Highly recomment this company for your internet solution!

I realize a lot of people have issues with xplorenet (as do we) but after a frustrating experience with their customer service, finally a work order was issued. Barrett’s called within 10 mins, technician was here within the hour, identified and fixed the problem immediately.

Avoid this company. They are a subcontractor for xplornet. They couldn't offer me service in my area but charger me $80.00 fee to do a "signal test". I paid the 80 bucks just to get this clown off my property. Stay clear
