Hopefully the doctors are better than the manager. The receptionist was pleasant when i booked in last week. But then i received a call from the manager the day before. She was immediately rude on the phone. Perhaps condescending is the best way to describe. I kept the appointment anyway, but was confronted by her again in the waiting room. Just as rude. I'm in the process of settling in Alberta, so I'm still on my old province medical, while i wait for mt AB health number. Manager wouldnt accept that, and demanded to see my BC health card. Well, that gets handed in when you get a new DL. She stepped up the rudeness during the conversation, to the point I said no thanks, and walked away. Not happy, she followed me to the door to make sure she could get the last word.

I was polite, professional and I'm well spoken. I also understand beurocracy, and I'm always happy to engage in meaningful discussion. This woman is rude, and brings an unjustified attitude.

Having a doctor is important, but I will happily find a different one.

Don’t come here if it’s an emergency. I almost had a grand maul seizure twice today, even once in the waiting room, I came here at 1:30. It has taken nearly 6 hours just to get a damn prescription and an IV. The medical care on the REZ is much better than this absolute bullshit. I guess our “free healthcare” comes with its LOVELY perks doesn’t it?

Dr Nilima denied my good friend service, my friend has a certified service dog, a dog who needs to be with her at all times. This dr should know that client with a service dog should never be denied. This dr told my friend to leave the clinic. If I could leave a zero star review I would

I like this Clinic, the Family Doctors are amazing with me. I have RA, OA, CAM Deformities, along with PCOS & Hypothyroidism and each time I go there my doctor is very thoughtful and patient in hearing my issues and helping me find solutions. The staff is wonderful, Marie is so good when I have to bring all 3 of my Babies with me, they are so patient with my kiddos, talking with them, helping them, patient with them, and my kiddos are not afraid going there to see the doctor, which is a big concern of mine as I am not so anxious bringing my children either. I hope my experiences here continue to be the same 🙂 thank you Barrhead Family Clinic.

Wait times are fairly short. Dr. Bakare is quite knowledgeable and listens.

It would be very helpful if staff could advised patients, on booking of appointments, of their NEW location and NEW contact information! Sadly, many are inconvenienced as they show up at their old clinic location. CPSA, Find a Doctor and Aspen PCN also need to be notified in order for "google searches" to give current information!

Super rude the doctors are amazing but the front desk is terrible very rude and snippy ive had problems before too this isnt the first time i try to be so nice and she just cant shake her nasty attitude
