Great place to stay! Includes a nice breakfast as well!! And a decent restaurant. We didn’t check out the lounge but it looked ok. Nice and quiet and convenient location. Room was clean and pleasant

Room was comfy. The staff/ Waitresses were fantastic. Food/Service was epic. Free breakfast in the mornings always fresh real food as well Thank-you!! Id definitely stay there again.......

This was my first time at this hotel and my last. The hotel is severely run down. The bottom of the quilt on the bed was full of stains. There were multiple spider webs in the room. There was a cockroach in the room that flew out from under the mini fridge that I had to kill. The bathroom door didn’t close. The TV did not work. Multiple stains on the carpet in the hallways and room. The bathroom doorframe was rusted and some baseboards were rotting. The service was very rough. Would recommend sleeping in your vehicle before staying here.

The lady at the front desk was so rude and not helpful at all. We were almost late getting to my sons wedding because the keys didn't work for our room. A maintenance person had to change the handle before we could get ready and then when we went to leave the door handle fell off. The carpets were disgusting, I had to move the mattress to get to a plug in and there was hair and dirt. The room smelled funky and there was yellow stains on the blanket. Disgusting!!

Run as FAR as you can. Rooms smell like smoke and weed. There are holes and yellow stains all overs the walls and blankets. Rust is so red on doors and showers it looks like blood. The shower is so disgusting I couldn't use it based off the brown marks and THICK deposits of who knows what on the shower head. After my partner and I left we had massive headaches and runny noses. I highly suspect there was mold in our room. This was not worth $109. I'd rather sleep in the truck overnight than come back. Most of the 4/5 star reviews must be bought or must be for the restaurant. I've genuinely never stayed at a worse hotel.

Oh, where do I start? lol
So, June 19th, my sister and I were in Barrhead for her chemo treatment. Her daughter had booked the room for us previously. I called from the hospital the morning of the treatment because I wanted to inquire about getting an early check in so my sister would be able to rest after her treatment.
This is when the adventure began. The most helpful (I use that word sarcastically) lady who answered the phone immediately made me feel like I had just asked her to ... oh I don't know.... hop on 1 foot & rub her belly? She advised me a couple of times that it "might" be possible.
I didn't know how long the treatment would take & she repeatedly asked me what time we would be there so I pulled a time out of head and said "ummm ... 12:30".
So, the treatment lasted until a little after 1 pm and off we went to the hotel. Well, we didn't get 2 steps from the desk and after saying "hi, we have a reservation ....", she looked at us and said "You're late ... I expected you an hour ago. You'll have to wait a few minutes now while I finish what I was doing." She fiddled a bit on her computer and then gave her reluctant attention to us.
Now at this point, I'm thinking "oh, she's obviously having a bad day ... be gentle with her, Shelly." Then, a couple of men came to the desk from the restaurant and she looked up and was all smiles and good humor. It was an astonishing transformation to witness. My sister & I looked at each other and grinned.
We did get our early check in. And the rest of our 2 night stay was absolutely wonderful!
Yes, the rooms are a little worn. Yes, the hotel is a little old fashioned but hey .... it was clean and the rest of the staff was freaking amazing!!! And yes, we booked again for the next treatment ... wasn't going to let one unpleasant person chase us away from the rest of the hotel staff ... no way!
I did ask another staff member if this ball of joy was perhaps the owner or married to the owner because I couldn't imagine why a business would keep someone like that. But no, she is not. Go figure, huh?
I do want to give a shout out to Deb (great customer service at the front desk), Audra (who got my stupid humor & who Deb told me is an absolute treasure to the business) and to Mary in the restaurant (who made us feel like we were royalty).

The building is in need of refurbishment but it was clean very quiet and comfortable.
The included breakfast was awesome , the table service was impeccable..stayed 2 nights September 26 & 7th 2025

I am not sure about rooms but restaurant is terrible and the hotel in general is extremely run down and dirty. Do not recommend
