Beautiful lookout of the canyon. Highly recommended hitting this small hike if in the upper part of the park. Around a 30hr but you'll be stopping for photos.
Make sure you yell into the canyon, as the echo is great!
Bugs weren't terrible by the lookout.
Only fee is for the Parks day use, but very much worthwhile.

Even on a rainy day, it was an incredible sight and worth the trip from the west end of Algonquin. If I had more time I’d have liked to canoe through the canyon but the view from the top is super satisfying too. Lovely spots just on the cliff edge to look down at the canyon. Attention needed with pets and kids as there isn’t any railing anywhere.
Don’t miss the trail guide that explains the significance of the rock and formation of the canyon

Best view you can get in a short hike, just a 30-45 mins loop trail👌🏽

What a beautiful trail! It is short, a loop of just 1.5 km, or roughly 1 mile. The ascent is constant and a little breathtaking, if you don't have enough stamina. But it is worthy, because the views from the top of the cliffs down to the river are breathtaking themselves! It was pretty busy in October when we visited, I can only imagine in summer...
Please pay attention to the cliffs as there are no safety rails, and they shouldn't be. Common sense is required and good management of children and pets. A place we will definitely visit again

Nagyon szép! Kanadai látogatásom során ennek, illetve a nemzeti park többi látnivalójának a megnézése volt az egyik legnagyobb élmény. Mindenképp visszatérek!

This lovely hike takes you to a lookout point with breathtaking views. Along the way, there are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the scenery. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash. There’s enough room for parking. Before setting out, please check the Algonquin Provincial Park fees and opening times. It's worth noting that the road leading to the parking lot is gravel.

30 km of gravel road is not my cup of tea. Lookout is amazing.

Amazing view! You can do an easy hike with a slight incline to get a high vantage point of canyon. Then take a canoe or kayak out along the river. You have to do multiple portages. If you go straight through it is 5ish hours so pack food and beverages but is totally worth it!
