Recently we had a tragic death in our family out of province. I gave Lorne a shout and within minutes he had Maryanne contact me and help me make cremation arrangements in a big city. We have dealt with these two a number of times and have always burdened them with extra requests and special considerations and they are always accommodating and provide that extra special care and attention we needed during our grief and healing process.

When Cec Bendle died unexpectedly, we didn't have a plan in place. A couple friends recommended Beau Lac, and we decided to add them to the list of Funeral Homes to choose from. They were the first on our list, and the last.

We were made instantly welcome, and that sincerity continued throughout the entire time we worked with them. Their facilities are attractive, but not overwhelming. They tell you what they offer without pushing anything, and if you have a tentative idea (we wanted a horse wagon taking him to the cemetery) they help you make it come true.

Something I really appreciated was Tracey Lynn's willingness to laugh and to celebrate the man Cecil was to us. She made us all feel comfortable. She was sensitive to our pain without being smarmy. Basically, she was "real", and that helped us through a very difficult time.

I also appreciated the help with all the forms and documents required. I would probably still be struggling with them months later, but they were explained clearly, quickly, and well.

Obviously, I can go on. Beau Lac was just what we needed as a funeral home, and we are grateful.
