It's such a cute place to pop in for a slushie or some ice cream, hard and soft serve! They will dip and roll your cone in a variety of options. Mini donuts and deep-fried foods if you're hungry, along with hot dogs and burgers. Picnic tables to sit, under mature, shady trees.

Stopped by for ice cream here after our hike in the Whiteshell. The place felt homey. Grab an ice cream or some hot food and use their picnic tables to eat.

So friendly!
Stopped for ice cream on our way back to Winnipeg, and very glad we did. Lots of flavours and toppings to choose from. We had hard peanut-butter chocolate ice cream, and it was fantastic. Not your average peanut-butter chocolate, this one was very chocolatey, and you can really taste the peanut butter! The lovely gal who took our order was absolutely delightful. Her whole demeanour said, "I'm happy to be here, and I'm happy you are too!" Made our day!

We had poutine, chicken bacon ranch burger, whistle dog and wings...food was amazing and fairly quick for how busy it was. Would def recommend stopping on way home from the lake ? we even took our dog and she sat quietly under the table

A neighbourhood gem! Best ice cream selection & service is always great. Poutine is delicious, however chicken burgers & deep fried pickles could be better. Reasonably priced menu. Always a treat to visit!

Too and from the lake, a perfect halfway point for ice cream! After recently discovering it we turned off the highway on the way back home, pretty late at night, and were pleased to discover the late hours! Easy access, plenty of space on site to sit and enjoy your treat. Thinking of trying the mini donuts next time and am wondering if they're prepared on site. See you guys again.

I've always loved the atmosphere of the dairy bar. But if the food quality can match that atmosphere well There are other places to eat in town. A poutine is about as simple as it comes. I shouldn't have to send it back three times. Almost no gravy... then lots of gravy but barely warmed up... then had it brought out to me to try and tell me they burned their hand putting the gravy on when it clearly can't even melt the cheese. The first two times I watched the manager or owner see what I sent back. In my opinion that is a direct reflection of management and ownership. From a picture point of view it looks appealing ... but as you can see it can't melt the cheese... and this is after remaking the whole thing. I couldn't be less impressed. Especially when you're hungry.I literally just changed it from two start to one... worst flavourless poutine I've ever had. Tastes like salt and that's about it.
