Went in for swollen and sore tonsils, felt like swallowing glass. Also got coughing up blood. All I got was a swab test and sent home with prescriptions without any explanation, no word of what the swabs said and no X-ray if my chest to look into the coughing up blood.

Had better answers from a walk in clinic in grande prairie that also gave me an X-ray referral. Walk in doc made comment about how the emerg doc must have been super man and could X-ray me with his eyes lol... don't waste your time.

I brought my friend into emerg presenting with sore throat, nausea, vomiting, headache.  She admitted to me she nearly passed out in the shower.

The doctor took swabs and started treatment in presumption of strep and treated the nausea with IV meds and fluids.  They decided to keep her overnight and monitor the situation.

The next morning at around 10am, Dr. Anizoba came in and bluntly told her to leave as they needed the bed space.  We're not sure if he reviewed the previous doctor's notes.

When she said she needed a note for time off for the Thursday and Friday, expecting her to return to work Saturday as a drink server.

To be safe, he should have written off Saturday as well because the results wouldn't be in yet and strep is highly contagious and she'd be serving the public.

While she was upset at the way she was treated by the oncoming doctor, the care she received overnight was outstanding and she did respond positively to the medications. She was in a much better condition in the morning.

She had previously seen Dr. Anizoba and had a good experience with him, so this interaction left her confused, disregarded, hurt and angry.

Great hospital ans friendly staff, ER wait times can be long as the doctor is on call in the late evening, but the nurses take each concern seriously, it's a hospital people come upset and leave upset reviews, the facts are: polite staff, honest doctors, wait times are not excessive. It's better than most, especially for a small town. Thank you to all staff for always having a smile and for always making the best out of a poor situation "reason for the visit"

Worst hospital ever. Arrogant and rude nurses. Ignorant rude doctors.... Any trouble you have with our provincial medical staff take up with your ombutsman. Their number can be found on the web. Please let them know of all your complaints. Maybe the more complaints beaverlodge hospital get The higher chance we get the staff in Order and start Treating patients with the utmost respect and dignity at all times.
You staff members have a sign on the front of your desk about being treated with dignity and respect.!!!!! You people have to earn respect.
There should be a sign above every bed in a hospital that' the patient be treated with dignity and respect.. Nurses and doctors take a oath to do no harm!!!!
The next time a staff member is ignorant rude and unprofessional they should be led out in handcuffs think about this people!!!!
If your staff member is being rude, tell them about it demand you're rights!!

The absolute worst place I’ve ever seen..:
They lie and aren’t trustworthy especially if your ill or and elder! They escorted my Aunty off the property with the police and sent her to a homeless shelter..:: by the way she can barely walk, is on oxygen and they left her with no medications to withdraw from. They’ve lied to patient relations and said she wasn’t admitted, even tho they kept her laying there for 2 weeks and did nothing about it except blame her for everything this poor women did not deserve this and no one does.. if I can give 0 stars I would!! So inhumane to do this to anyone!

Yeah they get you in faster to a room 80% of the time to wait another 6 hours! No one checks on you. Symptoms getting worse and no one to be found. The pain Is so unbelievable worse its ever been. Puking now from a migraine still no nurses or doctors to be found. Ridiculous

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE, my mother went in to get an x-ray for 3 fractured ribs and a punctured lung and waited 6 hours to see the doctor for results and didn't even get them. Atwell as nobody thinking to check in on her besides the janitor. Do not recommend for anything whatsoever.

I can’t believe how slow this was, 11:45 to 3:00 to see a doctor so I could get this throat infection under control. I’ve had this infection for 2 weeks the health system is so slow
