Absolutely stunning views! It’s an easy stop if you’re driving by, with well-maintained access and a peaceful atmosphere. Very close to parking spot. Must visit

Provincial Park that is very close to Huntsville - with a spectacular view of the "Big Bend Lookout".

You can access the view by walking/biking or driving up to it, however there is limited parking by the viewpoint itself.
From the parking, it is less than a two minute walk to the viewpoint - which is a flat/easy trail ending with a man made viewing platform.

There are a couple of plaques with information on the bend on them, how it was formed, etc.

Nice viewpoint of an oxbow in a river, there are viewpoints to the right which seem a little better than the viewing deck but all spots are good. I thought this was the best part of the park.

The big bend is a lookout point within the provincial park. Its beautiful. The view is amazing. It is something I havent seen before. The pictures we got were beautiful too

An excellent view. I have seen photos of this place and decided to visit and was so happy about it. We visited on a cloudy and rainy day unfortunately but still it did not stop us enjoying this amazing view. It was closer to the end of the fall colors and we visited on a weekday and was not crowded and there was not an issue for parking. If I have not seen the view of the big bend and the view of the bridge from photos, I do not think I would be able to find that exact view, especially of the bridge.

Beautiful view of the Bend from the viewing platform! It's a short walk from the parking lot but there is a little trail along the side too
There's parking for ~ 10 cars but it's only about a 10 minute walk if you park by the visitor center or beach and walk to it along the road.

Incredible park and view. Love visiting Arrowhead. Sites are so spread out and private lots of trees to block all views. Washrooms are clean and rather than have outhouses they have mini washrooms that look like outhouses but are full flushing toilets and sink. No soap so bring your own. Washrooms and Comfort stations are kept nice and clean! The beach is so beautiful here! So many areas to explore and hike. Plus its only a 7 minute drive to town if you need or forgot anything! Highly recommend.
