Drove to Big lakes Dodge on July 08/24 to buy a 2015 Harley-Davidson freewheeler flrt 103 trike. Days before, I had some nice chats with Julie who was super friendly and a big help getting us a price to buy the trike.

After a long four hour drive, Kelly set us up on a test run.

Sadly, the trike wasn't all what they claimed it to be. The bike wouldn't go into neutral when stopped and the brakes were not good at all, jerking to the right when pushed and feeling the brake peddal go all the way down. The tires were also a bit worn and the trike had a bit of a rattle to it when driving but over-all it's nice machine.
We did have some great service which I appreciate, however, I feel we should have been informed on those issues before we made the half-day trip as I definately would not have drove there knowing those problems.

I should have listened to my intuition warning me to turn down the deal the morning before we left.

I hope they'll be more tranparent with their next potential customer/s and reduce the price accordingly or at least fix the trike.

Buyers beware!! The buying process is easy, but that’s about where it ends. Things where paid for and promised upon purchase of the truck (aftermarket accessories) ended up being up charged double compared to other dealers in the area, drove the vehicle down multiple times to get them install, parts weren’t ordered and could not be installed after I drove 2 hours to get them installed. Paint scratches from detailing when I took delivery of a vehicle were promised to be fixed when the other accessories were being installed and they were not. Have tried contacting my sales person who promised these things to me upon purchase of the vehicle with no reply. This salesman (Keith) has an attitude that makes it seem like they shouldn’t have to do anything for people who buy vehicles that they have discounted on their lot. FCA has received complaints about this particular experience for me too now.

I cannot express enough how amazing the customer service is here. The environment is welcoming and there's always a smile being spread among the staff. As I live on a gravel road, I would often go in for patches. They finally convinced me and suggested GREAT tires which I do not regret purchasing from them! I appreciate all the advice and education about my jeep whenever I book an appointment. They truly care about their customers and go above and beyond for them. I know I can always trust my Jeep under their care. Thank you to all the staff for all of your help this previous year! 🙂

The folks at Big Lakes Dodge were a pleasure to do business with during our recent used vehicle purchase. We are more than satisfied with the vehicle we purchased and could not be more appreciative of their efforts-from parts to sales to finance it was a smooth transaction. They were NOT pushy in any way and were there to give us information along with the best achievable price. I would gladly travel the 7 hours to do business with them again in the future. Quality all around. Thanks David and team!!

These people saved my bacon. the parts department was amazing and understanding. Chelsea ( sorry spelling) went way out of her way to help get me niche odd ball parts for my Journey that I likely wouldn't have had access to if I were in a large city. The dealership is very clean modern bright and friendly 10/10 will be back whenever I'm in the area

I have been a customer of Big Lakes Dodge for the past 10 years. They are quick to get your vehicle in for a service but as soon as warranty is off, each visit seems to come with a recommendation for additional work that would add to $1000 or more to the service. Having an experienced mechanic in my family, I always decline the work and ask for the estimate and have the work done privately to reduce cost. On my last visit, I was told I needed new wheel bearings and a belt (in addition to work I knew needed to be done) When my mechanic started to do this work, there was nothing wrong with either of these items. It is not the first time this has happened to me here (and not even the same vehicle!) my recommendation is to be cautious when they say you need extra work done and get a second opinion or you could be out additional money.

Adding to post: I just received a recall letter informing me that the replacement software that I thought was completed over a year ago was not installed (thank you to FCA Canada for monitoring and sending me the information that this was not completed (though Big Lakes closed off my recall notice as completed) I will be taking my truck to a different dealership to have this work completed properly.
