I’ve been back riding with Savannah for the past 5 months after 5 years off, and I truly don’t think I could have asked for a better coach. From the very beginning, she made me feel comfortable, encouraged, and excited to be in the saddle again. My riding has improved so much in such a short time, but what’s even more special is how much I’ve learned about truly working with a horse—not just being a rider, but being a partner in helping them become the best they can be.

Savannahs method of teaching builds your confidence while still pushing you to grow. She explains things so clearly and has endless patience, but she also celebrates the small wins along the way, which makes every ride feel meaningful. Her passion and love for horses and her care for her students shines through in everything she does.

On top of being an incredible coach, she’s also become a wonderful friend one that I’m so incredibly grateful for. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed riding this much.

If you’re looking for someone who will help you grow as a rider, while also reminding you why you fell in love with riding in the first place, Savannah is truly one of a kind.

Savannah is such a good coach and always makes sure I’m comfortable, happy, and feel safe. She’s also amazing with kids and has done such a good job teaching my little brother too who has recently gotten into riding. You can tell she genuinely loves her job and knows a lot about different riding techniques and is always excited to share her knowledge. I’ve improved tenfold since getting back in the saddle with her!

Barn is also super organized and the admin staff (Alex!) are amazing communicators and always super accommodating which is usually hard to find at lesson barns! Couldn’t recommend BR more!

BR Equestrian is an amazing barn with the best staff and horses. As someone who just started lessons again after taking a few years off, I was very nervous to go through with switching barns, but my experience here has been nothing but positive. The barn itself is clean and well kept and has several spacious indoor arenas and outdoor arenas/fields. The horses are very well taken care of and vary in difficulty; there are lots of horses suitable for beginners and also some more advanced-level horses for more experienced riders. The staff and coaches are all so incredibly nice and friendly. The overall environment of BR Equestrian is very friendly and welcoming yet professional at the same time. My coach, Kim Hadfield, has made my transition from my old barn so easy thanks to her professionalism and consideration. Kim is an incredible coach who has helped me rebuild my confidence around horses and even learn new skills in only a couple of months. She encourages me to step out of my comfort zone when possible but also knows when to slow down and take it easy. Kim’s lessons are always fun and full of laughter, which makes the experience so much more comfortable and enjoyable. Kim is an excellent coach who cares about her riders and it really shows through how she interacts with her students. Words cannot describe how amazing BR Equestrian is, from their lovely facility and amazing horses to their friendly and welcoming staff. If you’re interested in starting lessons , I highly recommend BR Equestrian!

I recently started riding again after nearly 30 yrs. Upon entering the barn, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. There is no judgement. The head coach Kim is amazing. The horses are well cared for, from beginner to advanced. Whether you are 6 or 60 yrs old I would recommend this barn. Follow your dreams!!

I’ve boarded at a few different barns and by far BR has been the best experience for me and my horse. The staff are all friendly, the boarders too, and it’s drama free! The barn manager truly cares about each horse, and gives exceptional care. They also have a large run in for the outdoor horses, that is warm and cozy!
AND they have a cow which is the best part :), she’s so sweet.
I highly recommend BR if you are looking for a laid back barn with great care.

I started learning to ride lessons at BR September 25, 2024 and my experience has been life changing for many reasons. My coach is Ally and she has been the most amazing teacher for me. She has decades of knowledge and experience in all aspects of horse care, training, and coaching and she shares all of this with me weekly. Ally always ends our lesson on a positive note even when I don’t think I’ve had the best ride.We always manage to have a good belly laugh too which I love. I have learned so much from this amazing lady and I so look forward to my Thursday lessons at BR. ❤️‍🩹 I must give a thank you to Kim Hadfield as she was my coach for my first 3 lessons. Kim taught me to groom, taught me tacking up , picking feet and walking and my first trot. Her big heart and passion for horses is apparent immediately and i will never forget her.
BR is located on a beautiful piece of property. The horses and ponies are well loved and cared for. They have a horse for every rider’s ability. The staff are friendly and work hard to keep both the animals well and property looking its best!

Both my kids have had such a great experience at Br. The instructors are all so knowledgeable, caring and supportive. My kids instructors have always taken the time and had the patience to show my kids different things in their lessons. I highly recommend Br Equestrian.

I have really enjoyed my experience at BR since starting in September of 2021. I had ridden at another barn previously, but after moving, I made the switch to BR. I started riding lessons as an adult, and was pleasantly surprised to see that I am not alone at this barn - there are lots of adult riders and everyone I have met is friendly and welcoming.

I’ve been coached by both Suz and Kim. Suz has a wonderful eye for detail, and knows how to tweak your position and technique just the right amount to get the result you’re looking for when working on a certain skill. She really knows her individual horses and their intricacies when it comes to riding them. My lessons with Suz were spent laughing but also being tortured (muscularly).

I’ve been riding with Kim for almost 2 years now, and we clicked right away. My lessons with Kim are equal parts therapy and exercise. As an adult rider, I’m less of a risk-taker than I was as a kid, and Kim knows the fine balance between pushing me just the right amount, while ensuring I’m ready for a skill and can do it safely. She’s really fostered my confidence. We have so much fun and I’ve progressed so much.

The facility is organized and clean, and the horses are loved, not overworked, and are well taken care of. There are a variety of horses to suit rider skill levels. And I appreciate the additional riding space for boarders and part boarders.
