Thank you very much for the kindness Asian woman who helped us out. I'm sorry I can't remember her name. I had 2 girls and both of them needed to try on the uniforms. She was really helpful, gave us good recommendations and really patiently with the girls because one, she had to try a couple times. We had such a good experience there. All the staff always smile and are polite. The store is really clean and organized. Have parking right in front but no public washroom

I visited Cambridge Uniforms for the first time to find uniforms for my daughter. We didn’t have an appointment, so I was a bit worried we wouldn’t be seen but the lady who welcomed us (I can't remember her name) was very kind and got us in right away. She was so helpful with the fittings and offered great recommendations. We left feeling well taken care of. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and truly appreciated the excellent service!

First the sales person offered wrong size when I took my daughter for fitting. I bought it thinking the sales person knows what she is doing. The size was big on my daughter. I called the office to exchange it and they said I can go to their location in northvan and she will contact them. The people working in the store wouldn't exchange it for smaller size as I took the tag off. I kept the one piece of uniform home which my daughter actually wore. The sales people are quick and rush you soo much during fitting. They are not organized and too much going on. The worst uniform place ever.

Greatly disappointed at the Dollarton location.
Front staff were helpful but we kept getting the wrong size items so fitting took longer than necessary. That's fine.. it happens... no big deal.

What we are livid about was our child not being allowed to use the bathroom?

This ISN"T a store that's open to the public and it's located in an industrial complex so it's not like public bathrooms are readily available. Our kids go to a school contracted with this supplier, we are FORCED to come here for uniforms, and are going to spend $$ for years. We didn't just walk in off the street!! ... yet for some reason we're not good enough to use the bathroom (which is out front and easily accessible)?!? Our 5 year old is expected to hold it!

Worse: We were asked to go to Subway around the corner... because that business openly allows non-customers to use their bathroom? Better than you Cambridge...

Even Worse: We complained loudly at how outrageous this was and our sales person went to ask someone in the back (the owner/manager?) and promptly returned to say no...twice! At least she tried... the person in the back didn't even have the courtesy to come speak to us themselves. Well we complained some more and eventually, they said 'they'd made an exception" for us. Well thank you very much for allowing my son THE BASIC HUMAN DIGNITY of being able to pee in your precious bathroom!!

Icing on the cake: Another family buying a uniform for their kids for a school that had recently changed their logo... and were told they had to buy items with the old logo until they were sold out. ? unbelievable.

This place needs to review it's policies. It seems they know we have no choice in shopping at their store so they've completely lost focus on customer care. I would avoid if possible but unfortunately i HAVE to come here... or at least for now (I'll be speaking with the school admin about this) and would give negative stars if possible.

I just purchased uniforms for my 2 kids and my experience was mediocre.

My biggest issue was with the fit of pants. The waist is too big and the length too long on size 24 then way too tight and short on size 23. 1 size shouldn't be so drastic. Basically nothing fit my kids because they needed half or quarter sizes. Then they say to size up because the pants shrink!? So should I just guess on size then? Kids clothing is usually pre-shrunk.

The sweaters were too tight in the arms and baggy in the body. It wasn't comfortable for my kids, now I'm worried if they will wear the sweaters.

My other issue is that we had a scheduled appointment and they didnt feel ready for us. When I took my son to another uniform shop they had clothes set out ready for us to try so it was quick and seemless. This seemed unprepared in comparison. Also I had 2 kids trying on clothing and only 1 sales associate helping while many associates were standing there not busy. It would have been nice to have 2 associates help get us out faster.

Update September 20, 2021:
It goes to speak about the staff at Cambridge Uniforms, about the fact that they really care about their customer's opinion and feedback. Benji reached out after I wrote my original review (below) and was very patient and heard our concerns and promised to pass on our feedback about the material to their production team. We were able to get a virtual fit session setup to go over sizing with our son. It is really refreshing to see an organization take their reviews seriously, follow-up with customers to make sure they properly address it. Benji, thank you for understanding and hearing us out so patiently! Updating to 4 stars for excellent customer service. I would love to see the improvement in the quality and durability of the clothing as well. We will look forward to the uniforms arriving.

Friendly and awesome staff but aweful quality of clothing and order turnaround time (pre and post COVID). Not to mention their website which is not user-friendly and a maze to navigate. The sizing information on the website is very misleading.

The quality of clothing is extremely poor, yet the cost of is along the lines of premium brands of clothing. Clothes shrink and get discolored despite following wash care instructions.

Absolutely not worth the money. If only schools provided options of different vendors, parents wouldn't be stuck with Cambridge.

I ordered a hoddie in October 2022 for my daughter. The system said we would have it at the beginning of December. Then in December, I called them and they said it would arrive in January 2023. Now, I am still waiting. The thing that make me pretty mad is they deny my request of changing for a bigger one or cancellation. They just kept saying: I'm sorry and I can't do anything. I suppose I have no choice but receive my hoddie in summer, and I will see it's getting smaller when my daughter can put it on. So take my advice, never ever order anything from this store.
