Outstanding campground - very well maintained. Friendly staff. Lots of space. Play places for younger and older kids.
Bathroom very clean.
Just another set of showers needed in one of the ends of the campground.
Good location away from, but quite close to town. Biking/short driving distance from very clean Crimson Lake and Twin Lakes.

This is my favourite place to camp in Alberta. The location is close to lakes and waterfalls. The grounds are kept clean and tidy and the sites are large and can accommodate large RVs.
Washrooms are clean and showers are available. The staff are friendly and knowledgable. It's a great place for a getaway.

We had a fantastic weekend at this campground! The entire site was lovely and impeccably clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The playground was a hit with the kids, providing endless entertainment. The washrooms and shower house were spotless and well-maintained, which we greatly appreciated.

One of the highlights was the beautiful river that runs right next to the campground, offering a serene and picturesque setting. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay, being incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at this wonderful campsite. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond by providing us with three complimentary sacks of firewood, which was perfect given the chilly, rainy weather and the fact that we had an infant with us. Returning after our initial visit was definitely the right choice. The campsite is very well maintained and offered a truly relaxing experience. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I stayed here while he was working in the Rocky area. All the staff were attentive and welcoming to us. They helped us feel right at home in their month-to-month/full-timers/seasonal section. Over our nearly 4 month stay we saw consistently cleaned facilities. The showers/bathrooms were cleaned well and daily and the laundry room was always ready to go, with clean and working appliances. Dana and Mike went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Very kind and reasonable people!
The grounds are well laid out. There's a place for kids to play and the section we were in was nice and quiet at night to make it much easier for full-timers/workers to get a good night sleep!
As I can only speak to our situation, the monthly rates plus power were reasonable. There are local propane companies close by for standard size filling or a monthly big tank rantal if that's something you need. The town of Rocky Mountain House and grocery stores, pharmacies, hospital, restaurants, cinema, etc are within a 5 or so minute drive away. The camp is right on the shores of the North Saskatchewan River! Its so beautiful and yet extremely convenient.
We highly recommend this campground for any and all full-timers/workers/seasonal folks. Its definitely a great home base, plus you'll meet some really cool people!

Nice campground that is dog friendly. Their off leash dog run needs a proper fence and a gate to keep dogs safe. The barb wired fence isn't good enough to keep dogs from running onto the road and that kind of fence can hurt dogs, especially Siberian Huskies. Campground itself was okay. The site that we stayed in was a bit too tight to back in a 16 foot trailer. Our site was clean and lots of trees for shade. Having full service to our site was great. The price was good and the staff were super friendly. Plan on staying here again and will recommend this location to other people I know.

The rooms/sites are large and quite private, st least ours was. Sites opposite the playground are open but that allows for easier supervision. The location is 2-1/2 hrs from Sherwood Park so it’s a long drive for us but the scenery and river bank are beautiful. River access is easy. Service exceptional and very friendly!
Overall we had a wonderful camping experience and highly recommend Bkack Sheep Camp for family friendly camping.

This little gem of a campground, I was told upon arrival is under new management and has new staff, who were very friendly and helpful. |The campground itself was clean and very well maintained. Our campsite was very private with trees which gave it a real camping feeling. There was two playgrounds, beautiful walking trails alongside the river which my son rented a go cart and had fun peddling through some mud puddles. There is a nice gift shop with some camping necessities in case you forgot or run out. Shower house is as most are coin operated and was well maintained. All in all this was a highlight stay on our trip and hope to return again! Check it out!!!
