I was dealing with Alex on my purchase and trade-in and I have nothing but great things to say about him and the team at Campbell River Toyota. He kept me informed and was very transparent about the vehicle I was interested in. He provided all the documents, Carfax and repair invoices.
Very fair back and forth on a price and deal and I did not feel pressured to make any decisions on the spot.
He was very good at communication through emails and phone calls and texts as I am from lower mainland.
I have even forgotten my key on another personal vehicle and contacted Alex on his day off and he still responded and ensured that the key will be sent back to me!
Great service. Will definitely recommend anyone looking for a new or used Toyota on the island to visit this dealership.

Around a month ago, I picked up my 2025 Rav4 XSE PHEV which i reserved in October 2024. This is an appreciation post for two wonderful women whom i have worked with during the process at this dealership . They have made this entire experience seamless and stress-free! As soon as we went to pick up our car everything ready for us, and we were in and out faster than we expected. We saw this as an exceptional service and they values customers time and ensures they get exactly what they need, very much professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. We recently purchased a new Land Cruiser and we’re generally pleased with the experience, mostly due to our salesperson Alex who listened carefully to our needs and suggested an appropriate option that would work well for both of us. Alex also checked in with us regularly while we were awaiting our order and was responsive to our needs without putting undue pressure on us. His past experience in the service department also helped as he was able to explain well how the engine worked and was familiar with the inner workings of the vehicle. Most of all, we felt comfortable with Alex and trusted him which was all important.

I have owned eleven vehicles to-date. So no, this was not my first time buying from a car dealership. I brace myself going into Campbell River Toyota. I was prepare mentally for the oncoming "pushy salesperson." And then... they don't come. Instead I was greeted by Tyler, at the time not know Tyler was the Sales Manager. Tyler was very friendly making me feel welcome after chatting for a bit he asked what brought me in, I told Tyler I was interested in a new Tacoma manual 4X4 off road truck. At that point Tyler introduced me to Product Adviser Alex.

Alex is the best! He is amazing and made the process really smooth. I wanted a custom build and Alex went above and beyond to make it all happen. Alex was particularly knowledgeable and experienced in the car industry, providing detailed information about the Tacoma and able to answer all your questions. Over the week Campbell River Toyota Service Department was customizing my Tacoma Alex took photos and send emails, making me feel that I was a part of the build.

Even tho I did not use CR Toyota financing, Finance Manager Jennifer, could not have made the paper work more seamless, and the process was very pleasant.

If you are looking for a dealership with friendly people who don't try to "push" anything on you then look no further. They're friendly. They're helpful. They listen. They're accommodating. That was my experience with Campbell River Toyota!
