Pretty basic terminal. The washrooms are not in the waiting room but in the building where you buy your ticket (get the code from the cashier).

Horrendous experience. We were the second to arrive at the Campbell River terminal at 7am on our way to Cortez Island. Felt relaxed because we got there so early we were second in line.
When we arrived at Quadra Island, 2 full lanes were offloaded ahead of us including the heavy loads like dumptrucks. When we arrived at the Quadra to Cortex terminal, we were way back in the line and did not make the 9.05am. At least 8 of the vehicles in front of us at the Quadra to Cortex terminal arrived well after we did in Campbell River and yet they got to offload first and got on the 9.05am Cortez ferry and we did not. 2 hour wait after that. It took us 5 hours to get from Campbell River to Cortez Island and yet we got to the the ferry earlier than everyone but one car. Really? Either employees are taking bribes or the management overseeing these specific routes are completely inept and are cluless on how to create a culture of customer focus. Either way, a complete disregard for the customer, and for people who arrive early.

Most ferry workers are wonderful, however there are those malcontents that should find work in which they are not required to deal with public.Rode motor bike on ferry pulled up to where I normally park. On arrival at Campbell river, a disgruntled blonde female asked me if I was told to pull up so close to the netting. I said no, and asked how far back I should be. She mumbled something about not wearing a mask. My helmet was on and I was sitting on a running motorbike. Two vehicles were closer to netting then I. I smiled and drove off. What a miserable b!@$$ Another Carole Baskin lol

Busy, busy; if you don't get there early enough you've got to wait for the next ferry! Had to wait over a few hours by the time they unload, then reload it takes time! Lucky I was only going across to see what it was like on Quadra Island!

This is a photo of Direct Art Gallery in Tyee Plaza. This place has an incredible selection of artists and enlargement photos. On this day and in this photo Robert Bateman was signing prints and books for visitors. A number of his collections were on display. The place was packed with a long lineup waiting for his signatures. Personally I'd prefer visiting this place when there's more room to view the art on the wall. Looking at art in the wall should be a personal thing. Asking what the art says to me personally is better done without crowds of distraction.

Awesome ride but you can get 1-4 sailing wait because locals have priority. Sometimes just locals get on the ferry!!!
