I recently completed the online security guard training through the Canadian Academy of Guard Training, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The course was well-organized, and the online modules were easy to navigate, allowing me to learn at my own pace. Each module was clear and informative, covering essential topics such as legal responsibilities, emergency response, and conflict resolution.

What stood out to me was the course's effective blending of theory with practical advice, making it highly relevant to real-world situations. The material was up-to-date, and the interactive elements, including quizzes and case studies, helped reinforce the key concepts.

The lectures were good and the website can be said to be excellent in terms of speed, response time, displays. The videos were good, clear and audible. The videos form the core of learning without which one could not answer the questions that follow each section if one relied on the notes before each video. For that reason, there is need to condense the number of videos to avoid repetition of information. A video would treat a topic thoroughly in a section only to find the next section video would still be on the same topic but with little difference in terms of the heading, and teacher, but with some of the selected scenes of the previous video
It makes taking notes much bulky and lengthens the period to cover the syllabus. Some one or two answers given by the computer were obviously not correct. Outside this observation, that needs to be seriously addressed, it was a good programme well delivered. I am satisfied.
