$3000 down the drain! I have paid a deposit to the school that is to be refunded in the case of a visa refusal. My visa was denied, I have emailed Anna and provided the visa refusal letter. She took months to reply to each email, i have provided my bank details to which she said she was not able to transfer the money to. I have then provided a different bank account and she stopped responding. It's been more than a year and I am still emailing her but she's not responding to my emails anymore. She's had 3 options, wire the money to my latest bank account provided or mail me a cheque which is something another flight school did with my leftover money in the school account, I have also paid with a debit card and they could just refund the money back to it. Seems to me that the intention is clear, especially looking at other international students reviews.

I WOULD HIGHLY DISCOURAGE ALL STUDENTS, ESPECIALLY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FROM JOINING THIS FLIGHT SCHOOL! Just go through the reviews and you'll know who you're handing your hard earned money to.

I have also seen your responses to other reviews, I will not be contacting you again, I have wasted more than a year of contacting you on that exact email. I have also never planned to post a negative review, but the lack of interest in resolving my issue forced me to do that. My only contact from now on will be with the Canadian authorities.

I signed up for a familiarization flight. My instructor was Shub. It was his first flight with CFC and he was excellent. Diligent but casual style was very much appreciated. When he heard I had done some flying many years ago he allowed me to do the takeoff. How cool was that. Thank you Shub.

Specially for international students. The school only wanna to take money from you. If you have any trouble with them. Call The cops on them, also against them in court or report to Private Training Institutions Branch what are good Ways to get your money back.

Made a difficult decision to switch flight schools today. After careful thought over safety, online reviews, personal experience, I am moving on. I am not going to risk safety for the sake of a few bucks. I've read many poor reviews of my current school. My instructor is inpatient, and be-littles me at times, which I will not tolerate. I find them more concerned about the almighty dollar than making good pilots. I wish them the best. Advice to future pilots, carefully research your school before committing. Anyhow...on to newer and better things.

I have been training with CFC for over a year, now I have my own plane.
Still am using their flight instructors for additional training.
I have to say that I have always had an awesome experience with all of the instructors and management of this school. Currently training with Reza who I have to praise for his professionalism and safety. He is also very enjoyable to fly with. Thank you!

Many old planes not taken care of well enough.
Some instructors who are international with minimal experience and suitability to instructing. Creates a semi-dangerous environment with the low standards. My instructor was okay, but was given more work and duties than one person could handle.
Management cares about profit before quality of training. Good luck getting required documents if wishing to train elsewhere (After several months, many requests later, I called Transport Canada and inquired, then contacted CFC- this was the motivation needed as I got my PTR soon after). The owner and CFI are detached and uncaring. International students are often taken advantage of. Locked into a contract that has left many with the "short end of the stick". Flying in the Kamloops area is nice though.
