A wonderful Martial Arts school. We are in both the kids and adult kung fu classes, and have only had great experiences. The instructors are dedicated, passionate, and caring, and have inspired us so much! We love the team/family feeling to the club, and highly recommend if you are looking for a martial arts school.

What I like most about this school is how much pride the instructors have in showing us how to discipline our bodies AND our minds.

Even with my incredibly busy lifestyle, they honour my commitment with the same honour they have for those who have perfect attendance.

PLUS: I’m maintaining my fitness with 5 hours A WEEK.

lastly, there’s a special thing that happens in your soul when you can show someone what you’ve learned with what little time we have on this planet.

Canadian Ging Wu Arts Assn attended our DMA Winter National Tournament on Feb 18 in Calgary AB.
If I could give the C G W team more than 5 stars, I definitely would. All of them looked amazing in their uniforms, they did Great Fighting, as well as professional Form Taolu.
I really loved what they did. It was so great for the people to watch them.
Thank you Master for sending your fabulous team to the event. I am very proud of them.

The Canadian Ging Wu Kung Fu Martial Arts Association is a non-profit organization that offers a great experience for anyone as they have both a Kids Class and a Youth/Adults Class. They pride themselves with a type of Chinese Kung Fu known as Hong Kuen which emphasizes on low stances and power. Not only are students able to learn traditional forms and weapons, but they also learn about self-defense and point-sparring techniques for those who like more hands-on types of stuff. Additionally, they also offer Fut-San Lion Dance to students above Orange Sash (or belt), creating a great atmosphere for everyone to have fun. The location at which this martial arts club is based at would be convenient for many who live in Edmonton as their are in Chinatown, near the heart of the city. I have been at Ging Wu for the past 10 years and would highly recommend it to anyone who would have interest in practicing Kung Fu or would like to know more about Chinese Kung Fu.
