A Fantastic First Skiing Experience at Canyon Ski Resort

My wife and I had the pleasure of skiing for the first time today at Canyon Ski Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with outstanding customer service that made us feel welcome and confident as beginners.

The cashier was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything to us after we paid. She guided us step-by-step on what to do next, ensuring that we were well-prepared for our adventure on the slopes.

A special shoutout goes to Mark, the guy in charge of the equipment rental. Mark was extremely helpful in showing us how to properly wear our ski boots and gave us many valuable tips for handling the gear. His clear instructions and friendly attitude made us feel at ease, and we could tell he genuinely cared about making our experience as smooth as possible.

We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to skiing, and we truly appreciate the staff's dedication to helping beginners like us. We’re already looking forward to returning and improving our skills!

We had been to ski resort in summer for summer activities, it is very beautiful place to get away for a day. Enjoyed whole day doing activities. Activities are for both kids and adults. Parking is easy, restaurants and washrooms are at resort.

My husband and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Canyon, and the incredible experience they provided for our wedding. From our first meeting, we were floored by the professionalism of the staff, and their willingness to go above and beyond to help our vision come to life. Despite the fact that it was not yet wedding season when we first toured the venue, they were able to paint a beautiful picture of what our day would be like. They provided us with countless options and ideas, and we were confident in our booking.

Leading up to our wedding, the staff of Canyon were only ever an email away when we had questions or needed to clarify anything. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and professional, and truly seemed to care about us and our day.

Our wedding itself was perfect, and we are so grateful. We weren’t able to get access to our venue the day before, as another wedding was happening. This made me anxious, to be honest, but I had nothing to worry about. Everything was immaculate when we walked in, and our vendors had no problem coordinating with Canyon to ensure everything was done. Both the ceremony space and reception area were set up beautifully, exactly as we had discussed. The staff were wonderful, especially the fun bartenders who entertained our guests all night! The food was incredible - our guests couldn’t say enough good things.

If you don’t have a venue booked yet, go check Canyon out! I guarantee, you will not be disappointed.

Experience was terrible. We took our 2 year old who can ski well with the harness so we were looking forward to him trying the hill.

There were schools that made the lines about 20-30 minute wait times. We were able to wait one time and another 15 minutes then we had to leave because the 2 year old couldn’t take the wait (he’s two).

We went and told the staff we only got one run in 45 minutes and asked if we could change our tickets to the next day or any other day because we can’t wait around with a 2 year old that long in line.

Staff were terrible and basically told us to go pound sand and that we can wait the 30 minute line ups with a 2 year old or go home and pay another day.

That was our experience. Pretty terrible. Pretty darn terrible.

Great view and scenery for photos. Summer tubing slide was fantastic. Make sure to have closed toe shoes on! Reasonable price per ride. Will be back again

Loved the experience our Party of 18 had. So much fun watching my Grandkids have a great day with their parents! Need an idea for a Birthday gift, or any gift..this is it. We had 7 hours of fun!

The mountain coaster was really fun, maybe a bit scary for this mom as it felt too fast and open at some spots, but my husband and kids thought it was easy peasy. You can slow down the vehicle you’re riding so that makes it a little less scary but you gotta watch out for the people in front and behind you to avoid crashing into each other. Make sure to tell the staff at the “launch area” if you plan to go slow so they can give the people behind you enough distance / time before going after you.

So disorganized! We got accused of stealing after returning a pair of rental boots. Because we were never given the paperwork when we paid for them.!!!!! We never got an apology for the accusation. First time at Canyon Ski resort!!! NO THANKS WONT BE BACK!
