Our experience with the Kelowna, BC, Canada office of Carrier Enterprise (CE-Kelowna) is overwhelmingly positive. They went out of their way to help us, and they responded to our emails exceptionally quickly and professionally. We would not hesitate to do business with them in the future.

We had a Fantech heat recovery ventilator (HRV) installed on the Carrier heat pump in our home. Unfortunately, after about a year, the HRV failed. Getting the repair done by the original installer would have been outrageously expensive, as only the parts are warrantied. Fortunately, Fantech agreed that we could repair our HRV; everything in it is plug and play. The claim, however, must be processed through the dealer/distributor network. So, we went back to the original installer to have them submit a claim to Fantech. Alas, the installer had been bought out by another company and would not or could not honour the warranty, unless they did all the work.

Since CE-Kelowna had supplied the HRV to the installer, we appealed to them for help. Frankly, it was a bit of a Hail-Mary on our part, as we were not CE-Kelowna customers. To our great surprise, they agreed to help us, submitted the Fantech requisition, and obtained a warranty rebate in record time.
