I can't say enough good things about Cefa Langley City Center! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming environment put us at ease. The staff is incredibly attentive and nurturing, always going above and beyond to ensure each child's needs are met.
My child has blossomed in their care, developing new skills and making wonderful friends. The activities are engaging and age-appropriate, fostering both creativity and learning. I appreciate the regular updates and communication from the caregivers, keeping me informed about my child's progress.
Safety and cleanliness are clearly priorities, which is a huge relief for us as parents. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and enriching environment for their little ones!

CEFA Langley City Centre is one of the best environments I have had the pleasure of working in. The age appropriate curriculum focuses on academics, social and emotional growth of children. School curriculum offers a great balance between education and creative play. The developmental opportunities helps staff to stay up to date which is beneficial for little ones. A big Thanks to CEFA for such an amazing facility.

My son and I went through a lot at this school, and I can honestly say the administration at this school is problematic to say the least. Don't believe the 5 star ratings they incentivize the parents for reviews with contests. My son hurt himself and got a concussion and the principal gaslighted me to say it didn't happen, I told her to check the cameras, which thank god for those because he actually fell twice. Every single caring and competent teacher left the school in the two years we were there, it was something like 6 teachers. Not because of normal turnover but because they had issues with the admin. Which they will laugh off and say isn't true. My child lost every teacher he cared for and was so unsettled with the constant changes. I brought my concerns up with the director and just received a very reactive email, not a single phone call even after I asked for one many times. Not to mention the "principal" ignored me at every drop off and pick up. No one took my concerns seriously so I pulled my child out as soon as I could. They do not treat their teachers fairly and supporting a organization like that is against what I stand for. They replaced them with incompetent teachers who probably needed a lower starting salary. My son told me one of the new teachers pushed him into the bathroom on more than two occasions. They don't do much of the curriculum they say they're going to do, like French and coding. I never saw that being taught. For the most expensive daycare in all of Langley you would expect better but you'll be disappointed. I could not trust them with my child and please don't put your child into their care, every child deserves better care than what they offer. The current principal was supposed to be a substitute after the last one left, and she is very unprofessional. The turnover pattern continues and will probably continue and your child will constantly be unsettled, you'll continue to pay high fees at the expense of your child's wellbeing.

Really sad what my family went through with this location.. A family who had 2 children there for years. From the revolving door of teachers, losing their best, most beloved teachers who were there from when the doors opened, to losing more than 4 chefs in less than 8 months. To the most awful replacement, not nearly qualified ECE staff. To the smug, nasty front desk staff. To the numerous incidents where my daughter was painfully injured, all with no incident report. All due to poor management and the owner. My daughter started struggling with one of the replacement teachers. Many children struggled with the loss of their beloved teachers. This teacher acted more of in a dictatorship style, only concerned with enforcing rules. She was unbearable, old school style. Numerous times I saw her on camera yanking my daughter down by her arm, forcing her to sit, and my daughter is one of the sweetest, best listening children. I drew the line when my daughter was outside on the playground, playing under a climbing dome. A boy jumped from the top of the dome, onto her back, and pinned her down. She said she could not move and it was hurting very bad and hard to breathe. When he finally did get off of her, he used his boots and stepped on her arm, twisting the skin, and stepped on the side of her face on her cheek. We asked for a meeting with the owner. She obliged. She made sure to let us know she went out of her way to find childcare for her own kids just so she could attend.... she also made sure to let us know she has 250 employees she manages, with all the Cefa's she owns...very busy lady. She basically talked circles around us, around any issue we brought up. Nothing was addressed, and absolutely NOTHING CHANGED. Proud and Loud. She kept on her extremely poorly chosen replacement staff. The food is atrocious, don't even get me started on the food, I don't have space to write about it. I pulled both children out. My son's last day was today, we have been there for such a long time, do you think anyone wished us a farewell? No, instead they turned his camera off for the day so I couldn't view him. I struggled w/ my 10 month old baby packing bags and bedding and books, dropping things, & just saw smug, nasty faces. SO MUCH MORE to say, MANY more incidents. Don't leave your precious children here, is all I can say! Photo is what daughter would draw while she was there.

I had to write a review to make sure other parents don't have to go through what I went through. My daughter was offered a spot to enrol in July 2024 when she would have been just 7 months old. They said as long as she is turning 8 months old the month she is attending school, that it will be okay. I wanted her to start at 1 year old but I was told that if she doesn't take this spot that I might never get in. We put our deposit down to hold the spot but we eventually found another daycare that was a better fit for her. I called to ask if we could possibly let her attend the month of August instead so that her transition to the other daycare in September will be smoother. I emailed the administrator about the start date but she called to talk about it instead. Kiran, the administrator which whom I assumed I spoke to said it was okay over the phone, that it will not be a problem at all. She understood clearly what I said. Husband was also there when I spoke to her. And then I randomly received an email months later confirming that our daughter's end date is July 31. Mind you I was super confused so I followed up and was told that she never said it was okay. Of course I did not have in it written because it was done over the phone. Therefore I was forced to change my work schedule last minute. This was extremely unprofessional from their part.
My daughter attended school when July came. We never got to speak to any directors just one teacher. Daughter was given milk on her highchair, expected to hold and tilt the bottle by herself. We wanted her milk to be given at a certain time but it seemed like she was offered milk along with lunch. They said they tried but she just didn't want to drink her milk.... there were days she went 7 hours without any milk. My daughter still needed to be held and needed a more quiet/calm place to drink her milk. Nap was also very hard because at that age she was napping 3 times a day but cefa could not accommodate that. She was up at 7 but had to stay awake for 5 hours since only one nap was offered at noon for everyone. Her wake window was probably 2-2.5 hours then. They did not allow for outside food however their menu had salt in it! We would pick her up after her nap with food all over her face... I think cefa advertises that they can take care of infants when it probably is better suited for toddlers. If they cannot accommodate food and nap time for babies they should not be accepting babies.
I received an email maybe a few weeks in from Kiran saying that my daughter was doing so well at daycare and that they now have a spot for her in August that they would love to offer her to make her transition easier.... needless to say this was all about money

We cannot express enough how grateful we are to Cefa Learning Center for Young Children for the incredible impact they have had on our young daughter's life. From the moment she stepped foot inside their facility, we knew we had made the best decision for her early education.
The facility itself is nothing short of amazing. The colorful and vibrant environment creates a welcoming atmosphere that instantly sparks curiosity and enthusiasm in children. The center is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to cater to all aspects of a child's development. Every corner seems to have purposefully chosen materials, toys, and activities to engage and stimulate young minds.
However, it is the teachers at Cefa who truly make this learning center exceptional. The teachers are incredibly dedicated, nurturing, and highly knowledgeable in early childhood education. They bring immense passion to their work and genuinely care about each child's overall growth. Their level of expertise is evident in the exceptional progress we've witnessed in our daughter's development.
Our daughter's transformation since joining Cefa has been remarkable. She has blossomed both academically and socially, gaining self-confidence and becoming a more independent learner. The center's curriculum is outstanding, nurturing children's abilities while encouraging exploration and personal growth. From hands-on activities to creative art projects, they've created an environment where children love to learn and thrive.
What sets Cefa apart from other preschools is their commitment to holistic development. Beyond academics, they focus on emotional intelligence, physical well-being, and social interactions, fostering a well-rounded child. They make every effort to ensure our daughter feels safe, happy, and supported, making her time at Cefa an absolute joy.
Communication between the center and parents is impeccable. The staff keeps us well-informed about our child's progress, sharing regular updates, and always being available to address any concerns or questions we may have. This aspect of their service not only provides peace of mind but also allows us to actively participate in our daughter's educational journey.
In conclusion, Cefa Learning Center for Young Children has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The outstanding facility, dedicated teachers, and comprehensive approach to education have made an unparalleled impact on our daughter's life. We truly believe that choosing Cefa was the best decision we could have made for her early development, and we highly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing and enriching environment for their child.
Thank you, Cefa, for your unwavering commitment and for helping shape our daughter into the confident and curious learner she is today.

I enrolled my child at CEFA when it first opened, but after two years, I decided to move her to a different preschool for several reasons. The high teacher turnover, lack of nutritious food, and unaddressed complaints led me to believe that the quality did not align with the tuition fees.
On the positive side, CEFA has new facilities, a camera system, provides meals, and has generally friendly staff. However, my daughter rarely had a permanent teacher for more than 3-4 months at a time. Parent notifications about teacher changes were infrequent, often only occurring after a teacher had already left. Despite multiple requests for timely updates, the issue persisted, prompting some parents I know to switch their children to other schools.
I regret that my daughter did not experience the stability of a permanent teacher during her early years. She is now thriving at her preschool, and I wish I had made the move sooner.
While CEFA isn't the worst school, I would rate it a 6/10. The tuition is not justified by the quality of care provided. The school would benefit from improved leadership and better food options.
I suggest parents ask questions related to these issues and not rely on only the positive posts they read here.
