Visiting Canmore for the week and had dinner at the Iron Goat. The Cellar Door is directly in front and stopped in. Top shelf wine and spirts, very knowledgeable staff with great recommendations. Enjoyed several local brews and a bottle of Blanton’s!

I have been there many times and have always had good service. However I would like to share what happened to my son’s roommate. He is First Nations , kind, quiet and holds a good job here in Canmore. He was asked to leave this establishment for absolutely no reason. His hair is long and he doesn’t wear “designer” clothes. Maybe that’s why ….This young man has been through some very disturbing hardships. He’s a good person. I was disgusted when my son told me about this because he did nothing wrong. How mean and discriminatory. I was tempted to take this farther but I won’t. I hope this review is looked at seriously and that this kind of horrible behaviour doesn’t happen again.

A well curated selection of wines, and craft beers. The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable of everything in store and had great recommendations too. This was our first time here and we'll be sure to come back next time we're in town.

Dealing with James yesterday was an amazing experience. I ordered a case of wine as a gift for a friend. Not only did they put together a wonderful selection but they individually wrapped each bottle. They also delivered it the same day for me, even though they usually require one to two days .
I live in Ontario so relied totally on their expertise and am thrilled with their service.
Please visit this business. If I lived in Canmore I would be a frequent customer.

Fantastic staff with great knowledge. I myself love me some Bourbon finished spirits, the owner educated me with peated vs non peated Scotch. It was a welcome lesson, ended up walking out with a Hepburns Caol Ila 9. Good experience!
