My girls have been dancing with Center Stage for the last ten years and it’s been an absolutely incredible experience. From the very first class, it was clear that this is more than just a place to dance, it is a true community. The instructors are kind, caring, and genuinely invested in every student’s growth, both on and off the dance floor. Being a family run studio, it is personal, welcoming and supportive. My girls have not only learned so much, but they’ve also built wonderful friendships that I know will last for years.

Centre Stage School of Dance run by Ms. Liz is a top-notch experience! My daughter has been a part of the studio for the past 4 years. In that time she has been able to grow her dance skills and curate a true passion for dance. The studio offers talented instructors and a warm atmosphere. I cannot recommend Ms. Liz’s dance program too highly or say enough good things about the dance school. The dance school also offers really awesome themed summer camp weeks and my kids absolutely love attending. I highly recommended this dance school for anyone looking to introduce dance to their children or seeking to continue learning and improving their dance skills.

Miss Liz and her team of instructors are exceptional educators who foster a supportive and inclusive environment where children can thrive.

For the more advanced dancers, there is an additional opportunity to audition for the competitive dance teams, where they can showcase their skills on a broader stage. These teams offer not only a chance to further hone technique and performance abilities, but also instill important values of teamwork, dedication and perseverance.

Signing my daughter up for Centre Stage School of Dance (CSSOD) was a decision based on location and classes offered. Staying with this school was an easy choice.

The classes offered are varied, giving students a myriad of options at several difficulty levels; from fun recreational classes to competitive groups and solo work, the students can try almost any style of dance they would like, from jazz and ballet to acro, musical theatre, and more.

Liz and the other teachers have an amazing ability not only to engage a room full of kids at different overall levels, but to meet each student at their level and help them succeed and enjoy dance. Liz knows when to push her students, when to be kind and gentle, and when to give them some tough love. Liz has also fostered a supportive and inclusive environment, shutting down any negative or exclusionary behaviour.

The bonds the students have between each other and between themselves and the teachers are evident. CSSOD is more than just a dance studio, it’s a second home.

I think we hit the jackpot when my daughter wanted to try dance for the first time and we were referred to CSSOD. Ms Liz has been nothing but warm and welcoming to my daughter and myself. Lessons started out with just one class, grew quickly to two and next thing you know my daughter is there 4 or 5 times a week and would be there everyday if possible! Not only is she enjoying the fun of dance and buidling friendships but this summer she was given the opportunity to help with summer camp and grow and develop as a responsible contributor to her dance community. I am so appreciative of this opportunity that Ms Liz afforded her and all the positivity it brought to her life. I would highly recommend (and have) CSSOD!

I have danced with Liz (and still do) since she opened her studio and have enjoyed adult tap, jazz and ballet over the years. My daughter danced with CSSOD for 15 years and really enjoyed all the teachers she had. Definitely a warm welcoming environment for all ages! Highly recommend.
