To write this review seems more or less sentimental to me. Some reviewer said “ the interior design – atrium looks quite interesting,” Also my kid used to have Edmonton Public School-Singing Strings Orchestra-their rehearses happened right in the atrium.

I revisited there last Friday, it is different now. I met the front desk staff, Carol who I had conversation on the phone before I was there. She is an excellent to connect me to the right person.

I would like to say thank you to Karen, you spent quite a lot time to find the right school…and so responsible to follow up the work was done.

The staff over there are so polite, the safety personnel is also very friendly.

I do believe that everyone has opportunity to learn, fundamentally elevate civilization of the society.

Buffalo chicken in the wrap was drenched in hot sauce and way too spicy and only 1 small strip too much dressing on the lettuce as well. Pouting fries were cold gravy cold so cheese curds didn't melt at all. Very disappointing.

Tried to deal with them regarding many issues and it's nothing but a run around!!!!! We have had complaints for afew months and many issues have NOT BEEN taken seriously. it's very sad!!

Kids don't feel safe in some school and tons of bullying issues even from staff at the school!!! VERY sad

Without Prejudice: It goes from bad to worse. First the problem over 2 years ago was the seclusion rooms. Now after 2 years there are problems again. This time it is knives being pulled on my grandson in two instances and a situation where due to lack of supervision an incident happened that never should have happened and my grandson is not believed. There are people that work here that don't like to listen and don't seem to like my tone. Seems that someone's tone is more important than the fact that the schools are not safe and that there is a lack of supervision which creates problems.

My wife works at this school board and has never regretted. She had been a public school teacher in China for 13 years prior to moving to Canada. We compared the public school system here with that of China and had to give it five stars.

My children have been bullied at two schools and nothing was done about it, I have been verbally abused by a vice principal and told I wasn't allowed on school property (?) whilst defending my daughter's right to a safe environment-sexual harassment had occurred and it was shrugged off. She is 13.

The anger I saw my neighbours express toward the EPSB at the community meeting I attended when new to the area two years ago was, I quickly learned, only a small expression of the outrage felt in the community toward the treatment they've received.

It was soon revealed the EPSB had misrepresented a previous meeting to residents as being held for the purpose of deciding whether Parkdale School should be closed. When residents turned up at that meeting having done a great deal of research and preparation, and after presenting their arguments, however, representatives of the school board informed them that they'd already decided to close it before the meeting was even held. And things have steadily declined since then.

The grounds are so poorly tended families can't even push strollers through the tall weeds - I've watches parents struggle to get their families under the chain to the parking area when it's impossible to reach the play area through the grass. Meanwhile they use the grass field they told residents was a community resource as tenant parking. There are enormous cans filled with cigarette butts by the entrances. And large, noisy service vehicles such as garbage trucks at 2am and tankers at 5am are regularly scheduled at hours in direct violation of city noise ordinances. Never mind trying to get them to take measures to discourage illegal activity on the site - that, we've learned, is a conversation not even worth attempting. And when we try to contact them? They don't respond. And if they do (and then only when asked to speak to a supervisor), it's only to tell us not to contact them.

Simply put, the EPSB has allowed a community resource to fall derelict, have been utterly contemptuous in their relations with residents, and are contributing to the decline of a neighbourhood that residents are working very hard to revive. It's clear that nobody is being held accountable for upholding their responsibilities.

According to the EPSB website, Cindy Skolski holds the position of Senior Planner, Property Management, Rentals and Leasing , and Roland Labbe holds the position of Manager, Planning and Property Management. I would summarize that it would be nice if somebody from an appropriate department would step forward, take responsibility, and communicate respectfully with residents, but at this point I honestly just wish they'd sell it to a developer and knock it down. It's a gorgeous school and we'd miss it horribly, but it would mean getting the rude and irresponsible EPSB out of our neighbourhood, and that would be an enormous improvement.

And at this point, I don't know a single person who would believe a single thing they said anymore anyway.

You call to let them know what school is doing to your kids and they tell you that you are not saying the truth even when you have evidence ..and school issues ban to parents and threaten that if u take your kids out of the school they will involve child service am definitely gonna sue u guyz
