Update August 14, 2025: Site inspections still not updated in spite of AHS website stating that they must be posted. Either inspections have not been performed or they are not willing to post them. Use caution before sending a loved one to this facility.

Update March 29, 2025: Still no change. Site inspections still not updated. Don't trust this place until they have updated information and accreditation.

Update October 19, 2024: No site visits are listed for this residence since August 2023. When my father left there in June, they were glad to see us go. If you have a problem, speak up. Nothing will be fixed here if people don't complain!

Staff - they are not residents. They are in their homes. The people living at Century Park are not visiting you. You are working their home. It doesn't matter why they are there. Talk with them. Find out their favorite music and play it for them. Google "enriching games for adults with dementia" - you'll find tons of things that you can do to make their home a more enjoyable place to be. I can promise you that not one of the people living there wants to be there. They didn't choose to be in the situation they are in. But you can choose to make it a great place.

the care of my father at century park was HORRIBLE. thankfully, we were able to get him transferred to a wonderful facility where the staff was well trained and the patients were treated as human beings. i WOULD NOT recommend this facility to my worst enemy.

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would. The company that now owns Century Park has stripped away everything that resembles “care.” First, there is no staff. If you’re lucky, you might see ONE nursing assistant washing dishes. Additionally, they have removed ALL enrichment activities. The “activity room” is empty. The halls are silent. The residents wander aimlessly with nothing to do. Don’t be fooled by the glossy Optima brochures. Do NOT allow your family members to be placed here. It’s a prison, not a care facility.

My parents were probably the first residents… my mom in peach unit and my dad in the dementia unit. Mr dad’s diamond ring was stolen from the nursing station. Nothing was ever done about it even with getting the RCMP involved

Not Enough Staff...period..and staff not able to do get all the residential needs . Oversite..On many levels needs attention. Workers hired need to live in area would be helpful..
