I had the Beef Bourguingnon and just substituted the mashed potatoes with green beans. Simply amazing! I loved every last bite!

The star was this amazing Pinktini that hasn't even come out on the new seasonal menu until next week. If you like pickles and beats, my gosh, it is phenomenal! If you try it, make sure you lift your glass to Erica for inventing it!

Fantastic place. By far the best in Beaumont and among my top five in Edmonton.

We ordered coffee - excellent. Chocolate croissant - tasted freshly baked. And a bagel - pretty good.

The inside is very nicely decorated. The outside terrace is perfect for the summer.

Amazing quality food here! Very happy to have tried this place and looking forward to coming back. The service was attentive but not intrusive and the overall atmosphere was relaxed. A perfect date night spot or place to catch up with an old friend. We got the bagel with smoked brisket which was done very well and the fries were nice. The tourtiere was wonderful as well and had great flavour. Ended with cinnamon bun bread pudding which was perfect. Overall the food was amazing and we look forward to trying more of the menu.

Went to visit Edmonton and did some research and found this place. Decided to check it out on our way back home. It's a beautiful restaurant! Interior is incredible and makes you smile. We ordered the breakfast poutine and the eggs Benedict Donovan. The food was very good however the portions I find were a bit skimpy. The poutine was served in a small skillet and was not packed fully. It was not a generous serving and my husband was done in about 10 mins. It had a good flavour though, just wasn't super filling. My eggs Benedict was also delicious but I was shocked that they served me two eggs on one piece of sourdough bread?! So they made me a half portion with less meat, less bread and less sauce. Half of my plate was filled with salad when it should have been another eggs Benny. The home fries were served with ketchup which I dislike. I requested an aioli and that was the best choice because that sauce was sooooo worth it! Definitely should come with the aioli to begin with; should be included with the original order. Overall, it was delicious and the waitresses were very sweet and kind. I think the prices were a bit high for what was served. If the portions weren't halfed, it would be the perfect breakfast and I would justify the price.

We were recommended by a coworker to make a stop we "wouldn't regret" on our way from Fort McMurray to Calgary. Oh, how right they were. The street of Beaumont this little gem is nestled in is bursting with charm. I could feel my shoulders relax just walking down the sidewalk, taking in the storefronts. Chartier itself feels like a time capsule of Beaumonts heritage and a love letter to its French Canadian roots.

The food was easily one of the most delicious and well crafted meals I've had the pleasure of experiencing. You can feel the thought that went into each recipe. The talent in their kitchen shines through as well. Every element of each dish felt purposeful and was excellently executed. Their decision to prioritize local produce and vendors guarantees fresh, high-quality ingredients. Supporting local has never tasted so good. I would love to describe in mire detail the depth and complexity of the flavors and how beautifully they paired together, but words can not do it justice.

Not only was the atmosphere and food incredible, but so was the service. Our server was delightful. When the food arrived, Mike described each dish in tantalizing detail, explaining where the ingredients were sourced. Before we had even begun to dig in, we understood the care that had been put into the meal. As we were leaving, we took a moment to appreciate the selection of ingredients they had available to purchase. Not only could you enjoy the quality local ingredients during your dining experience, but you could bring them back to your own home to cook a meal for your friends and family. Before we left, Mike stopped to chat with us and ask about our dining experience. We could have stayed and talked with him all evening. He was so full of life, kindness, and genuine pride in being a part of the restaurant. You can't teach that kind of hospitality. Some people, like Mike, just naturally draw you in and put you at ease.

It's easy to see why Chartier is such an important part of the Beaumont community. Go and enjoy a meal with family and friends, trust me, "you won't regret it."
