Total Scam – Please Read Before Enrolling

I enrolled in the makeup course at Chellsey Institute of Beauty and Health (Passion Beauty Academy) and deeply regret it. They handed me a price list that seemed high: $1,200 for a kit and $500 for books. Including tax, the total came to $1,921, yet they never showed any samples or photos so you could see what you were paying for.

What I actually got

• Kit: the cheapest, dollar-store-quality makeup and flimsy brushes, nothing close to professional
• Books: despite the price list saying books (plural), I received one book, Makeup Masterclass, which sells for about $30.21 on Amazon
• Exam fee ($50): charged only if you lack a high-school diploma. The exam was just a few fill-in-the-blank pages to complete at home, hardly legitimate

I asked Ahmad, the person in charge, why the price list says books but they provided only one book worth $30.21 on Amazon. He replied that here they sell at whatever price they want and that this is their policy.

I’ve uploaded photos showing exactly what was provided. Do not waste your time, money, or energy. Passion Beauty Academy is a complete scam. I hope more students share honest reviews so others don’t fall for the same trap.

I am so happy I made the decision to enrol into the medical aesthetic program! I had a great learning experience taking the Botox/filler course at Chellsey institute. The staffs really care about each students and make sure you are getting the best experience. Dr Owlia and Amira were incredible teachers, very passionate about their work and skillful. You feel well supported as a student and get plenty of hands on practice from the very best!

I went in to get laser hair removal done on my legs and my experience was wonderful! The students were very confident and kind and their instructor miss Joelle was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and concerns that I had. I recently graduated from Chelsey institute of beauty & health from the Medical Aesthetician program and I feel so accomplished. I learned so much from the amazing teachers at the school, Ms. Gabby taught me Pedicure and Waxing, Ms. Joelle taught Massage, Skin care, Laser hair removal and Manicure, Ms. Hadeel taught me Makeup. I had lots of fun and made some good friends whom I miss so much. I felt sad when the program ended for me but I feel comfortable enough to visit or stay in touch with the wonderful teachers and friends that I made.

I have the privilege of being a student in Ms. Joelle’s class at Chellsey Institute and I can truly say she is one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She taught us so much in great detail, from deep cleansing facials, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion to body massage, manicure, pedicure, waxing, spa therapy, and laser treatments.

What makes her stand out is not only her deep knowledge of the field, but also her kindness, patience, and genuine care for her students. She always went above and beyond to help us understand the material and made the learning process so much easier. She supported us every step of the way, especially during exam preparation, and truly wanted all of us to succeed.

She is incredibly hardworking, kindhearted, and passionate about what she does. I’m so grateful to have learned from her. Anyone who gets to study under her guidance is very lucky.

Wouldn’t bother going here. Save your money. They charged so much and didn’t do what I wanted. For a school, the prices were way too high. They did my lips when I wanted a little filler above my lip and smile line. Also, the doctor didn’t even go through any allergies or medical history. As a nurse, that’s a big no. Wouldn’t give a refund either and they have so many students, it was intimidating to complain while there
