Belle expérience, surtout le service! A l'accueille , Mme m'a accompagné très bien, leur système avait compris un sofa et un lit, mais j'ai réservé sur booking 2 lit double... finalement, Mme au service m'a bien accompagné et réglé le tout! Le déjeuner, n'avait que 15$ inclus dans un café à côté, bien-sûr que ce n'est pas assez....

Our stay was fine, but it just felt odd. We were greeted and treated kindly by all staff. I was caught off guard though: breakfast was supposed to be included in the form of a voucher to the attached bakery, but the bakery was closed for Canada Day and no alternative was offered. It wouldn’t have been an issue if we had been messaged in advance, but it was a put off.

The bathroom floor needed swept badly. The room was clean but the sheets could have been bleached better. Nothing major and no big complaints, just seemed strange overall. It did however work for the night.

Don't plan on watching tv or using their internet...there is no cable tv - so they have "streaming services" - but only if you have the plans and can sign in to your own accounts...absolutely pathetic in the year 2025.||Wifi is so bad that I had to use my own wifi to write this review - because their wifi is so bad the page wouldn't load...||The room is okay.

I recently had an incredible experience at the Claymore and their incredible staff truly saved the day. I accidentally booked my stay for the wrong weekend and arrived on a night when the hotel was fully booked. Despite the fact that it was my own oversight, the staff went above and beyond to find me a room and even reimbursed me for the night I had mistakenly booked. Their exceptional service during the Highland Games, the busiest night in our community was incredible. The courtesy of the staff and management to go above and beyond to rectify my own mistake made me feel so valued. Being locally owned my experience truly demonstrates a genuine commitment to their guests and community and empowerment and autonomy of decision making among the staff. Highly recommend!!!

(PS we had dinner in the adjacent restaurant to celebrate the fact we were not roofless for the night, such a perfect ambiance and the cocktails were to die for!!!)

This is my third time staying here and I love it. The location is perfectly located for your convenience if you are travelling through or using it as a Basecamp. It shares a parking lot with a mall, a grocery store, and liquor store, with restaurants nearby. The Justamere Cafe & Bakery are connected to the hotel and is the place you'll want to go for breakfast even if you were staying at another hotel. There's even a Canadian Tire, Sportchek, and Mark's in case you forgot to pack something needed for the many beaches nearby The rooms are dated, but clean and very comfortable, equipped with a good sized mini fridge, microwave, and keurig, and are generously sized, especially compared to the more modern/trendy competition. The staff are kind and thoughtful, helping to resolve any issue you may have. Sure, you don't get to wake up to beautiful views, but if you want that, book any of the many cottages around. This place is awesome value for money, and the stores nearby are there for anything you forgot to pack or didn't realize you needed. Highly recommend it to anyone who values space, comfort, and a human touch over a trendy, tiny, but modern space.
