Friendly, attentive and welcoming medical staff meet with you first. Dr. Steed is a doctor that you easily feel confident and comfortable seeing, and you certainly don’t feel rushed through appointments. He may take some time getting to you- wait times average between 20-30minutes usually- but this is because he genuinely spends time with patients.

My wife has Dr.steed and it's been ridiculous. He's always rushing around and forgets about half of the things he should be doing. My wife has asked him questions which he literally didn't even answer. Like just cause he's into this botox as of late, does not mean he should stop caring about his other patients.

Does not do walk ins!! Doesn’t say anywhere if they do or don’t. But after waiting for 10min for them to open, turns out they don’t do walk ins.

I've been calling each day (sometimes multiple times) for the last 6 weeks and can't get through. Answering machine doesn't have a messaging system, it just cuts off and asks you to call back later. Either I have bad timing or they have a serious process issue. I believe it's the latter.

I understand Alberta has medical system issues but after 6 weeks only having one option, which is to keep calling, it's pretty ridiculous. The onus should be on the clinic to create a communication/appointment process that functions better. With the number of people not getting through on the phone you're creating a jam on the phone systems, because they all keep calling...if there was an answering machine service it would mean I call once and await contact back (Answering machine message could simply state "We have a high volume of appointment requests and will hope to get back to you within 'x' business days" - set expectations!), therefore preventing incessant burden on the phone line. As a client I'd rather have a confirmed booked appointment 2 months out than feel like I have to give up because no one answers the phone. Incredibly frustrating when trying to take care of your health.

Excellent care from Dr. Steed and all staff. Agree with some of the reviews, they need more admin support. Admin currently there are fantastic but can’t keep up with the phones - I did call 5-6 times over a couple hours before I got through to book an appointment.

I love my Dr as he is amazing and always helpful, I have been coming here ever since I could remember. What I don't like is having to call for over an hour+ to try and make an appt. I realize they are busy, but if you can't answer the phone within an hour or more then obviously another receptionist needs to be hired.

Very disappointing. Have been a Client of Dr. Geers since being a baby, two years ago they switched me to Dr. Steed. For the past 2 years I have been dealing with Mr. Steed, and today I called to book an appointment only to have them tell me I am not a client of Dr. Steed and that he is not taking any new clients resulting in me needing to find a new doctor. No phone call or anything was received from Coaldale Medical Clinic telling me I was no longer a client of Dr. Steed. Horrible way to deal with clients.

We love Our family Dr, Dr Steed. But trying to book or cancel an appointment is very frustrating. You are put on hold and hung up on or you have to call all day to get through. More reception staff needs to be hired.
