Horrible experience with this registry office! Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to interact with the lady that is at the sit down desk at the registry. I have had her a couple of times and have dread going in there every time because of her. Today, was the worst as I seemed to be the biggest inconvenience in her day. She treated me with zero respect. She made me feel as I though I had no business doing a simple transaction with her. I left the registry crying because of how disrespected I was in my 5 minute visit. Super unprofessional. Judging by the multiple complaints I’m assuming are about her, this is an ongoing issue and I hope she decides to treat people better. I will never be returning and steering everyone away from this registry office.

It's a very long, slow and tedious process to change/update ANYTHING for your elderly parents. It took two visits to the registry office to accomplish it, that was because I did not have everything needed to ensure the safety and privacy of my parents. It was explained to me very clearly why and what I needed to produce. On my return visit I dealt with Linda who was very well versed with my needs. Linda was friendly, very professional, efficient and sympathetic about the tedious process. I believe many of the poor reviews are a result of the clients not having what they need to process whatever it is that they are trying to do. None of these women who work there make the rules or set the guidelines, but they do have to follow them. They are very frustrating at times, but are put in place to protect all of us.

This place is so frustrating to deal with. After only being able to book a test a month away, a slot opened up 4 days away. I immediately called to switch my booking date and no answer. I called and called. No answer. You can't schedule anything via voicemail or email here, so I had to keep calling. Eventually after a few hours they picked up and they had gave the spot to someone else. Not very professional business

It is unfortunate that the employees here are not Interested in making their clients feel at ease, or assisting them in any way. In our experience, the employee we had the pleasure of dealing with was very negative and condescending. They have the expertise in the matters they deal with, and should be much more understanding and helpful. It certainly was not a pleasant experiods at all.

Horrible service. I paid for my fines on the myalberta portal website, in order to renew my registration and have a receipt for my tickets. And she refused to renew my registration until I paid a parking ticket that didn’t show up on my Alberta, but somehow needs to be paid before Cochrane registries renews my registration lol.

I arrived early and had all the necessary items ready for transferring my license, but I had a few questions about their process and if I needed anything additional. I encountered a woman who refused to communicate with the other government registry. She interrupted me multiple times and even raised her hand in front of my face to cut me off. Then she said, "I'm done for the day and don't have time for this. Please do not ask me any questions, and we don't communicate with other registries to assist customers. They can send an email." Everyone can have a bad day, but the audacity to treat someone with no humanity or common decency, who is new to the province, who is trying to learn the latest procedures, and who is nothing but kind and calm, with such disregard and disrespect, was truly disgraceful. Shame on you. However, I want to express my thanks to the second woman who took over my license transfer, as I was feeling shaken after being treated so poorly. It's disheartening when staff and customers suggest going to another location for better service.

This is the most unprofessional business I have ever had to deal with. Highly recommend going to crowfoot registry to avoid the toxic feminist atmosphere in this joke of a rundown garbage business. I watched as every male was treated like a useless piece of trash and made to jump through hoops to get anything done. What an absolute joke of a business. I hope someone starts a second registry in Cochrane as this one has the market cornered and has the worst customer service skills I have ever encountered.
