I'm so proud to call Cold Lake Community Church(CLCC) my church. My first time attending was in April 2022. I knew no one in Cold Lake or at the church and came to the ladies' conference that spring. Everyone was very friendly and I came back on Sunday the following week. After that my family started attending every week.

I had never attended a Christian church before. Frankly, I wasn't much of a church goer period. It was a big eye opener attending a service. Until you attend a Christian church service, you will struggle to understand the difference between Religion and Relationship.

What do I mean by that...Religion is something that is placed on you by men(as in the human race), where as a relationship with Jesus Chirst, Holy Spirit and God is spiritual and holy lead. My relationship with Christ has taught me so much, given me so much strength, and healed me in so many ways. I'm proud to have been Baptistzed through CLCC.

I love attending church with my family. There are always so many things going on. One of my favorite events is women's ministry. There are bible study groups, family events, community events, Sunday school, movie nights, youth group, and on and on. As a couple, we enjoy the potlucks and Sunday service.

I also recommend this church if you are a first-timer. As in, you haven’t really been to a Sunday service. You will not find the sermons that Pastor Mark does boring. Not to mention, the beginning of the service (Whorship) has great singers and a band. Also, there are many friendly people who serve at the front desk who will answer any questions you may have.

If you are feeling lost in life, have had a bad experience at church, or want to be nearer to God. Or maybe you're new to the community, like I was, then I wholeheartedly recommend attending Cold Lake Community Church. Check them out online and fb. The hardest part for anyone to do is just walk through the door, the rest is easy.
