I spent 9+ hours, waiting with my partner who had something stuck in his eye. We arrived before 8pm. On Friday. He didn't get seen until after 5 am. No one was admitted at all between the times of 10 and 4. NO ONE. At one point an 80 year old man who said he fell was being shouted at and told to get up and walk by the doctor who had cone out to the waiting room. We watched the elderly man cry abd try to explain that he was too weak to walk. To which the doctor shouted " well what do you do at home ?!?! The triage nurse looked like she was going to snap. She shouted at,everyone. Then I remembered her from 4 years, ago. I came in to emerg after having a STROKE and she was so mean and our of line to me that once my spinal tap showed blood, ,she tried to backpedal and apologize. It was so weird and mean and unprofessional but I was incapacitated and couldn't react. She's still there harassing sick people?!?! All these years later? HAas,she been doibg it this, entire time?!? Please, someone check the camera footage from last night at Collingwood emerg.!!!

I used the cold/flu/sprain clinic in the emergency department by booking online the day before. I was triaged & registered fairly quickly and seen in a reasonable amount of time. I was thoroughly assessed & out in 1½ hours. What a great service for our community.

The wait was pretty much what the website said. It was organized. It felt like everything was prioritized as needed. People were helpful and polite. Fine experience for what it is.

NOTE: Entire staff was amazing EXCEPT Nurse Colleen needs to be removed and kept out of any/all healthcare positions in the future, especially those requiring interactions with people in need. It's obvious she hates her job, doesn't care about people, and it's also obvious that nobody would want to be "taken care of" by such a nasty person, especially in times of need and desperation. She yells, interrupts, and talks over people, and you can tell she just goes through the routines of her job in the most careless way possible. Seeing that she makes over $130,000 a year salary makes this even more outrageous and absolutely disgusting. Imagine paying someone over $130,000 to be treated like this. UNREAL! Writing this with a throw away account so she doesn't jab a needle somewhere it shouldn't go next time I have the utter misfortune of having to go there. Also feel sorry for the staff who has to put up with this.

I broke my ankle last Saturday and was brought here by ambulance. The paramedics were amazing and very compassionate. Once I arrived at the ER I was dealt with immediately. They did my x-rays and found out 2 bones were broken. After that, Roger in the ER put my ankle in a cast. I was in a lot of pain however he was very gentle and managed to get it done without causing me more pain. Everyone in the ER was great. Huge thanks to Roger!
