Beautiful well protected marina. Staff and owners are courteous, thoughtful and incredibly knowledgeable. Always willing to help. Marina is kept in immaculate condition. Members are helpful and always willing to lend a hand. Highly recommend this marina!

Tried the place two years ago while sailing around the 1000 Island and the East end of Lake Ontario. Really loved the place, so, I came back last year.
For now, as I am finishing to reshape the boat to go back at sea, this is my her new moring place.
The marina is well kept, when something has to be done, they act on it right as fast as humanely possible, and the ambiance is great. Last year as the water was particularly high, the parking lot was underwater at the beginning of the season, and the fuel pump could not be operated before well in the middle of the season. Well, congratulations to them, they already started last year bringing the grounds up and everything should eventually be out of the water for the next high water level.
As per the train and airport, yes, they are there, but you get used to them. At night, when I sleep in the boat (usually not on the boat), I cannot hear the trains, and there are no planes flying in and out of the airport. Most of the airplanes anyways are small ones.
Now a few other very positive sides to this marina is the location. It's well protected from nearly all direction as it is at the end of the bay. The access to the Lake is very convenient and easy. Owners and staff are very professional and well trained and friendly.
Also, if like me you have to work on your boat to upgrade it, you only have to cross the bay on your dinghy to get every boat part you need. There is a great store right accross the bay. Better than taking a car or a bicycle.
Trust me that's a keeper

We have been at CBM for five years. Gerry and Lori (owners) are simply too good to be true. They raise the bar way beyond what we have experienced in any marina across lake Ontario. Their crew also embrace their customer service philosophy. You need to experience it to believe how pleasant it is to dock at Collins Bay Marina.
