Dr.Nwodo is a doctor who really cares for his patients. Is very knowledgeable and shares it with us. He explains everything he does for us so we know exactly what medications are for and continues to follow up on all medications and lab work. I strongly recommend this doctor.

The receptionist here needs to be swiftly removed from her position. I witnessed the receptionist screaming and talking over one of my staff members (on speakerphone) - who has a medical, educational background.

The receptionist botched the referral, lied and attempted to blame my staff member for not calling the specialist (which she verifably did, several times) and then when the receptionist was politely corrected, the receptionist said "Now YOU will listen to ME" and attempted to escalate the situation needlessly. The receptionist was then informed that if she did not lower her voice the call would be ended. The receptionist also did not listen when she was informed that the patient had verifiable proof of contact, and then began parroting the same commentary screaming at the top of her lungs. It is inappropriate for any professional to antagonize their client, and the receptionist holds sole fault for the escalation of the situation. My staff member consequently ended the call as a result of this abuse and vastly unprofessional behaviour that has no place in any workplace.

Under no circumstances will we tolerate abuse to any of our staff members, nor will we tolerate anyone power tripping any of our staff or perpetuating falsehoods about SHA procedures. (For example, females are permitted to request a female doctor for safety. This receptionist screamed that "you can't do that." You can, and it is the law.)

It is inappropriate for any medical facility to lie and accuse any patient of "not calling" a specialist when there are ample phone records proving otherwise, nor is it appropriate to talk over or scream at a patient in an attempt to antagonize them in order to deliberately incite a confrontation.

This is the reason there are so many one star reviews. The doctors at this facility are excellent, but the receptionist's conduct requires dismissal and a career for which she is better suited. Perhaps a mime, as that would seem to match the current verbal skill level of the front-facing staff. Typically a core requirement of frontline reception is to be of sound mind and mental health, however, it is readily apparent that a rather substantial exception seems to have been made at this clinic. It is strongly recommended that this clinic be avoided until better front staff are procured. On the plus side, however, the bar for improvement is rather primal in level. For those medical receptionists looking for work, please send your CV post haste! If you do, my company will buy you a cookie.
