After a recent trip to Scotland to see the village where my wife’s grandfather was born and raised and all the nostalgia fresh in our minds, we resolved to finally have a couple of old oil paintings that have been in our living room, restored. They were painted in Scotland by my wife’s great Aunt.
After asking Google where this task could be accomplished, the site suggested a local business called Creations Art Gallery in Ancaster. It had numerous shining reviews and a five star rating. Off we went and met Dan. He was friendly and knowledgeable and outlined the steps that needed to be done in the process. Confident in the information that he provided we left the paintings with him. And his hands were capable, indeed! We picked them up today and were thrilled with the results. Years of smoke and discolouration have melted away. The paintings have more depth and perspective. Some colours have appeared, that had been hiding for decades. So, thank you Dan and staff for your excellent efforts. We appreciate your skills in restoring some precious family heirlooms.

We fell in love with Maya Eventov at a local art dealer in southern california. Unfortunately the piece was not the right size for our room. We looked everywhere online and found Creations. Also found the "perfect" art piece. Dan Faulkner took photos of it and used a program to give us a virtual way to see how it would look in our room. We purchased at very fair price. He kept us informed all the way to delivery at our door. It was securely packed and now we sit in our living room and get lost staring at Maya's art. Thank you Creations!

After searching for weeks to find a place to cut an oval glass picture frame and could not find anywhere for fixing that specific shape; I found Creations Art Gallery and Framing and the owner was fantastic, at first he said it would cost me alot of money and I should just leave it as it is but then he made it possible to just cut the glass into shape for me, he was so reasonable; also his creations are so beautiful. I would recommend anyone to this place. Very professional.

We had two oil paintings (handed down through family) that were 40+ years old. They were in need of some TLC !!
Dan inspected the paintings (he identified some slight canvas/paint defects that weren’t noticed by us initially) and provided a thorough evaluation and estimate of costs and expected timeline to execute the restoration.
The finished product is amazing……. They truly appear as if they were just painted yesterday !
The colors are bright, fresh, crisp & vibrant……. The room that we have them in has ample lighting all day, and as the light changes throughout the day, the paintings seem to offer a different look each time you glance at them.

Thank you very much for restoring a very sentimental part of our past !
