Le positif : l'emplacement en plein centre-ville. La chambre est très propre, les équipements bien fonctionnels. On apprécie l'ambiance, le service, la salle de sport, la buanderie, le confort du hall d'accueil, le bar et le restaurant.

Le négatif : hôtel en travaux, donc très bruyant, piscine fermée (indisponible bien qu’apparemment pas en rénovation). Le parking est payant. L'hôtel débite également une caution de 50 USD par jour pour tout règlement par carte bancaire, en plus d'une pré-autorisation arbitraire de 150 USD. Cela provoque de nombreuses opérations sur le compte bancaire que le personnel ne semble pas maitriser à 100% (nous avons du faire un check-out / check-in au milieu d'un séjour de 2 jours!). A priori il y a de nombreux litiges concernant le paiement...

Choisi avant tout pour sa piscine qui n'était pas accessible lors du séjour.

The receptionist don't even point you to where to go or if you're done with the check in she just gave me the key after my ID, I had to ask if I was done with the check in, AC was not working properly! It was blowing hot air but the thermostat said 60 degrees, in the 2 days we stayed in there I killed 3 small roaches, the mini refrigerator smelled so bad, the toilet kept running there was water all over the floor when we arrived my husband had to plug the hose that was loose in there.. I should of read the reviews before booking in there! Nice view from the room that’s the good side

A very nice older hotel. Well maintained with great staff. It was an easy walk from the Convention Center, which is why I booked here in the first place.
There was a warning sign in the lobby for the seasonal cricket situation currently being dealt with as good as can be. This was more of an issue for rooms with balcony access, and mine did not.
There is one of the 4 main elevators that sounds like either a wooden roller-coaster or an old mining car. I didn't fear for my life by any means. The sound was unique and interesting for an elevator.
My room was tidied up each day with fresh towels and such. This was appreciated. I didn't read the fine print and wasn't aware that the $20./day parking charge would be added to my bill. It's not horrible, but Priceline didn't communicate this very well.
Access to a good variety of restaurants within walking distance is a bonus. I did not try the in hotel restaurant, but I saw several signs regarding it.
I would stay here again and can safely recommend it to anyone coming to Dallas for a convention or business.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and the location was great for the price. I didn't have any issues during my stay with the staff or any member of the restaurant. The individual who assisted us during check-in was very professional and helpful. However, I did wind up leaving something behind, and I have been trying to get someone to help me with a lost and found report I had submitted online. It seems the individual in charge is never around. I've tried calling in the morning, in the afternoon, and even at night, and I have not received any type of status or communication from them regarding my lost item. Outside of that, I had no other issues. If you stay here, make sure you don't leave anything behind.

Most horrible hotel I have ever stayed at. Check in was done by security guard while the front desk receptionist was not were to be found. She arrived later and extremely rude. Elevator broke down and we had to use stairs to go to 12th floor! Half full water bottle in fridge, used shampoo bottle in shower! A piece of metal from bed had pushed out, injured my foot,,,,,,,,,,,,,, At th check out they asked about my stay and explained everything to front desk manager (yep, they did have one) who showed lots of care and offered free breakfast. I told her I am not interested in breakfast and just wanted to share my experience. She took my number and promised the GM will call me. Waited for 3 weeks and no calls from the hotel. Last week I called the Crown Plaza's corporate office and they say they can refund my $. I told them I am interested in refund but just wanted to bring it up to someone's attention. I was promised th regional manager will call me. That was 10 days ago, no call so I just decided to share my experience with public. STAY AWAY from the hotel and Crown Plaza in general!
