I had a disappointing experience with the mechanic who charged me $100 for a service that lasted only three minutes. All he did was plug in the OBD reader and failed to identify the error code displayed on my dashboard. After I paid, I received the invoice, which also included a $17 charge for parts. When I complained, they initially defended the charge as standard but later issued a refund for that amount. Overall, I felt that the service did not match the price, and I left unsatisfied.

RVing headed South and needed an oil change for our tow vehicle. Found two possible sources and both could fit us in on our rest day. We chose Dalex and were at their shop right at 0800. Took our truck back immediately and did the oil change as well as an overall fluid check and brake inspection and we were back on the road in an hour. Cost was much and I mean much lower than we expected. Actually a bit cheaper than what I pay in the US. They do have a small selection of RV parts/accessories and they do service RVs and we saw two of their techs at the Triple G working on an RV so it appears they will come to you if you can’t get to them.

Would recommend Dalex to anyone! Helped us to be comfortable finishing the drive to Fort St. John. They were kind enough to stop at our hotel on their way home to assist us. Above and beyond what many people would do!!!

We highly recommend Dalex Auto Services Our car developed a few issues while on our trip down the Alaska Highway.

We were able to get it to the shop & have it looked at quickly. We did need to wait for parts, but it was worth the wait as it was fixed & is now working great.

They do not over sell & I felt I could trust them from first walking in the door. I was not wrong!

Excellent work & a great team effort to get us back on the road asap!

I had my oil changed at Dalex in Fort Nelson, BC. I'd give five stars but, $340.19 is the most I've ever paid for an oil change. I was told B.C. stands for bring cash, now I get it.
