My son (6 years old) and I have been training here together for YEARS and we absolutely love it! Warren is awesome and all of the trainers have been incredible. Great bonding with my kiddo while getting a workout and skill building (for the both of us!). I loved participating with my son, and will miss training with him when he upgrades to solo training next year! Facilities are always well lit, clean, and the gear is top notch and well maintained. Kids love it, have fun and stay in shape! Thank you everyone at Dragon Martial Arts Academy for all you do! With your training my son and I feel confident defending ourselves from looting pirates or ninjas. Highly recommend sending your kids here!

Warren and instructors are excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and always ready to help. This is the place if you are an adult wanting to improve yourself or would like your child to be a part of a incredibly positive and engaging activity.

Even as a grown man I was nervous about joining a martial arts class. Warren and everyone at DMA made me feel welcomed and encouraged my progression. I would recommend jiu-jitsu and any other program offered by Warren and DMA.

Highly recommend. I suffer from CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) so I signed up for the Gracie Jiujutsu program. In the year I have been a student I have learned self defense, gained confidence and panic attacks have decreased significantly. The instructors are first class, the atmosphere is accepting no matter what level your at and the students are welcoming and willing to help. My service dog gives 5/5 paws.

I've been in it for 8 years now, and I am a black stripe and I must say that it has made my life more exciting. I like how a person can take Tae kwon do and jujitsu in the same building! I would say that it's the best Martial arts studio in Port Alberni. I would suggest trying it out some time... trust me, it will be worth it 😉

Wealth of knowledge, huge well maintained, clean dojo/training area,very family orientated, super approachable and helpful instructors, lots of great people to train and spar against,all skill levels.
