Front end staff, pharmacist and one lady who worked in the pharmacy-wonderful. Very friendly.

Clearly a understaffed, overworked pharmacy that's catering to sicamous locals and the thousands of transient vacationers.

Do not expect the calgary standard of 15 minutes for a Rx or the full amount.

I'm sure patience and kindness will go a long way here, but again the staff are not super friendly, and they will let you know that as a " out of towner" you are low on their priority list.

Not the best customer service experience but I got what I needed same day.

SLOW as molasses. Takes them 2 days to fill a standard prescription? Standard med, available in brand name and generic, used across the board. Nothing special.

Salmon Arm is 20 min away just go there, you'll have multiple choices for a pharmacy.

Update: It seems the business has responded. Yes people are having staffing issues but when we were onsite, there was no line-up and 4 pharma staff behind the counter and it took 15 min standing there to even be acknowledged that we were there. This isn't a staffing issue.

Very disappointed in the pharmacy. I had a root canal done in the morning and my dentist called me at 5:30 asking how I was doing. I said I was in excruciating pain. She prescribed me some painkillers and said she would phone them in immediately. So I drove to pharmacy and confirmed they got my prescription which was at 5:50. Long story short they refused to fill it because they didn’t have enough time for store closing at 6:00PM. This in my opinion was very unprofessional of a health care professional.

IDA Eagle Valley Pharmacy is a complete god send, without it Sicamous would not be the same at all. I feel like it is really at the heart of the community as it’s right on Main Street & caters to the people that live and stay in Sicamous year round. They have the most wonderful, kind, & caring staff. They carry your basics but also have little aisles dedicated to niche items such as imported goods, electronics, hardware, gifts, etc. This location also has a florist. They have a wide variety of exotic plants & house plants which are always a joy to look at when I come in. The florist also carries flowers for gifts such as bundles of roses, peonies, etc. near the floral shop you will find lots of gardening items as well as gift items such as glassware, candles, wax melts…. there is also a large selection of t-shirts & sweatshirts for both men & women that are related to the local area. There’s also some womenswear, jewelry, and a few beauty brands. IDA has a member program for a minimal fee to get year round discounts & also a stamp card for buying IDA generic products. It is one of the best pharmacies I’ve ever come across!

The people in the pharmacy are NOT organized Or they just don't understand that people actually need their meds on time. Twics now I've ordered refills at least a week in advance and they're not ready. I take a lot of medications that I need at specific times and this place makes it really hard. The biggest problem here is they don't have any competion! I do not recommend going here for meds if you need refills because they are not equipped to deal with that.
I should clarify that I have had no problems in the store itself ONLY at the pharmacy at the back of the store.

Had a great experience with their pharmacy team. Sam, the pharmacist, was compassionate and efficient when helping me with my medication needs.

Milk

Came here on Monday to get medicine for my sick child (Askews was out) only to find that they decide to close for the day to "Mourn the Queen". What a joke, will not return.
