I thought I had the privilege of being the first bridging program for pharmacy technicians. It was a part-time course one class (online every Monday) as you would work for assignments throughout the week. It started of really bumpy teachers not set up for anything , test not working , it was rough. It just got worse from there resulted in teaching ourselves, having lack of communication and feedback. I truly think this course set me up to fail, I don’t feel like it actually helps you out for the real world , there’s no prep given to prepare you for your exams. There was a lot of lack of support for the students, The only credit I would give is Jessica she seemed to be the only teacher to really care about us. She was doing double the work for a class that was shared between two teachers teaching she was the only one putting the effort in. There were moments where the teachers didn’t know how to teach us math (literally skipped over it) , told us not to worry about as if we don’t need it .. but it was certainly on my PEBC. Not much given for the hospital portion of technicians, it was not helpful. I feel like I was set up for failure and I certainly worked my ass of teaching myself and others… just to fail because I had lack of knowledge. Do better next time this sucks for how much money I put into this. this course will not help you with being a technician.

The worst mistake I made was to attend eastern college, as an international student.
The institution only cares about your money not the well being of their students.
They don’t care about you whether you are sick or not. their only main focus is to get into your pocket.
I don’t think as an international student you should go to this school.
They took my money and still withdrew me from the school and still chasing me for another money.
As an international student don’t go to this school, it is a trash place for you as an international student.
They only care about your money not the impact and again I only spent a month in the school and I still owed them😂😂😂 like how?
They have taken my $1265 and I still owed them about $1800 like how?
As an international student look for a public school I don’t think a public school will withdrew you and still chase you for another money.

I had an amazing experience with the Halifax Campus! Everyone was always so quick to help in any way possible. Teachers were all amazing.

I have a BBA and had left the work force to raise kids. Took Medical Administration as a way to re-enter the work force. I did not learn one single medical administrative skill. And learned upon graduation that Nova Scotia Health Authority will not hire people from this college.

I would never recommend Eastern College to anyone . Biggest waste of money and time .

Half the courses are done on a computer with many serious computer glitches . You ask them to fix it and they just laugh .

Have a family good luck . Something comes up and you miss time you get a letter . They do this called make up hours for missing time . You sit there and watch Netflix .

I feel like this college takes advantage of people trying to get into the work force . They promise all of this stuff and never follow through .

If you can go to NSCC or a different school do it .

I am highly disappointed with my experience trying to get admission to Eastern College as an international student. Despite my repeated attempts to contact the admissions department, I have received no response. I even visited the college in person, where they asked me to provide my name, email, and phone number, assuring me that they would get back to me but no one ever did. Additionally, the college’s location is very confusing, making it difficult for prospective students to find their way.

Super confusing location. GPS took me to the wrong entrance beside wholesale club got lost in the building and had to call the front desk for help.. which made me late for my appointment. when I finally got there no one greated me besides the girl from the phone call (she wasn’t apart of the massage therapy clinic) I waited for another 10 minutes in the clinic and left since nobody said anything to me. No massage for me and wasted time.
My phone call I got last night to confirm told me to come to this entrance? Lack of communication & signage..

I really enjoyed the small class size, as I was able to learn and focus a lot more than in a university setting. Mainly because they focus on doing one course at a time instead of multiple courses at once.
The instructor was highly skilled and knowledgeable in the program courses and eagerly strives for her students to succeed and do their best- All the while making each course interesting and interactive.
Eastern College really does prepare you for the work place. I was really pleased after being hired straight after graduation. I have Eastern College to thank for that!
