Please don't go for this college.

They just lower the confidence of the students.
First, you don't which quiz questions are wrong, you cannot review them again, and even if you find answers you are not sure whether you are correct or not and then you don't know whether you are learning the right thing. This just lowers the confidemce of even doing program from here at the first place because who knows you will learn the wrong things and no one knows whether you are working in the right direction or not. Students want to learn from the quizzes, trying to find out the correct answers and you cannot even find out whether what you found from the book is correct or whether you mentioned in the quiz or exam is correct.

Wow! Great way to lower the confidence of the students!

Worst school in the Moncton area. Directors only there for a paycheck, front desk lady Amy is extremely rude, and they basically steal money from you repeating the same classes, but changing the names on them. For example I had "Microsoft Word" and then a couple months later had "word processing" which was the exact same assignments, exact same thing. They claim to be a school that will help any student/prior student get a job, but thats just a front. 0/10. Do NOT recommend unless you want to feel stressed out and neglected after spending almost 20k to learn nothing.

Good day, I wish to review an instructor from Eastern College, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; a teacher per excellent. Always ready to impact her knowledge via all her beings, that is everything that is inside her. She makes me understand that there is nothing too hard, if you want it and work towards it you will get it. She too over the affair of PSW in my set and after Mr. Douglas and I became more interested in the cause, likewise my classmates. NO DOOL MOMENTS WITH HER.
I am so blessed to have her as my instructor . You wouldn't know she elderly when she seats down with you and joke with you. Beautiful inside and outside.
I am not talking about any other person than Mrs. Mary C. Asnaut. This woman is more than an instructor to me, she is a mother to all her students in the school.
If I have an award for diligence, dedication, hospitality and family oriented person she would win 🏆 it. Thanks for reading 📚 this epistle on my wonderful instructor.

To start, I'll go over a bunch of topics to keep it more organized but if you don't want to read, my short review is DO NOT attend this school. There are plenty of cheaper options for better quality.

I'll go over:
- Staff
- Cost
- Education

Some brief information before I start, I enrolled in the Video Game Development course which is about a year and a half long, i went through a bunch of modules and at the end I had to do a 4 month internship with a company that would host me.

- Staff -

The staff were great for the most part, my finance rep Lindsay made things very easy to understand and helped pick the best option for me. My professor Dennis was awesome the whole course and he deserves so much more than this school however when my course came to an end I can't help but be extremely disappointed with my "employment specialist" Stephanie, she was very nice at first. She helped talk about a bunch of stuff and even offered to coach for an interview, however she randomly just stopped messaging me one day and ghosted me for half a month when I was asking questions. I replied to an email of hers asking another thing to clarify and I found the reply snarky. No hate to people having bad days but half a month and just randomly starting to hate me? Interesting.

- Cost -

The cost is insane, I picked here because there were no Halifax game development courses for eastern college however the cost was $25,000 for both years. Someone I know who's getting into trade is spending 8,000 for both years to get into IT at NCSS, complete waste of money and I'll explain why now.

- Education -

I don't think there was a single module they had a proper textbook to, they were constantly fumbling to get us a working textbook and when we did they were completely useless. The course moved too fast to have any extra time to invest yourself in the textbook because they decided it would be a great idea to have both assignments and textbook examples happen at the same time. Aside from that mess, through the course I went through a ton of different game making software's to the point where when I actually graduated the education side and was entering the internship, I could only tell them I had 3 months in any given software for experience.

When exploring local colleges, I chose Eastern College. I had a wonderful experience taking the Child and Youth Care Worker with Addiction Support. I was blessed to have Corey Chiasson as my instructor. I had a few hiccups along the way, but she helped me through my challenges for me to achieve success. Her delivery of the material with her added knowledge made it engaging and fun to learn. I recommend the in person class:)

My time at Eastern College has been phenomenal. I took the Criminology course and the instructor, Jennifer Blais, was absolutely incredible. She is not only very knowledgeable, she also knows how to engage students and relate the course material to day-to-day occurrences, with references and scenarios that all can understand, remember, and apply within our careers.
The atmosphere within the college is extremely welcoming, accommodating, and encouraging, and understanding, all thanks to the wonderful staff at Eastern. There is no problem that is too big or small to be worked out, making the learning experience a breeze. I had an amazing time here and would absolutely recommend attending Eastern College to those looking for a course that truly is preparing you for your field.

Found out about the massage therapy provided by students and booked for a cheap massage over a month in advance. Day of the appointment, which I moved my schedule around to accommodate, I get a call from Eastern College notifying me that my therapist had called in sick, and we would have to rebook... 3 weeks away. Close to 2 months to book a single massage? I'm good. Thanks.

My experience as a Eastern College student has exceeded my expectations! I am, and forever will be, so thankful for the knowledge and skills retained from the course that I took. My teacher, Jennifer Blais, has been fantastic. This woman is very knowledge and it was a privilege to have been taught by her.

I recommend, and will keep recommending, to anyone who is interested in pursuing studies at this College. Every staff member that I have encountered is very caring, social, and they really prepare you for success! 🙂
