it's a pretty good school, i go here and all the teachers are really nice. overall a had a great experience at this school, and i love that there are many clubs/sports teams. i guess it's a pretty average school.

Hi! I’m a student here, and I absolutely love this school. The teachers are wonderful, and very caring. the lessons are amazing, events are fun and well planned out, it’s genuinely a very fun place to learn. Everyday we are greeted with a warm smile :]

I'm a student here, I've been in this school in the special class since 5th grade or 4th grade, I had a few bullying experiences but all schools do, I was called slurs I'm in 7th/8th grade btw. My history teacher is amazing so is my science teacher, I love the drama class and cooking/sewing class, I've made many friends and foes in my time here. Also the food in the cafeteria is amazing👍 100/10,

Great school with fantastic clubs, sports and teachers. I definitely would have loved to have seen more soccer in school. But overall, this school gave my son a phenomenal junior high experience.

The school is alright for a school, although a few of the teachers are quite mean or overly strict for no reason. First day of school a teacher introduced themselves saying they have a reputation for being mean but it wasn't true. Handed us a paper and said we would work on it next class. Next time we saw this teacher they got mad at us for "grabbing the wrong paper" even though they passed it out.
Secondly, I don't know if it was just my grade but the drama was a bit insane. Fights broke out more than they should've. Some kids got suspended...a lot.

On another note..most of the kids here are great people, you just have to find the right ones. The school has plenty of adults to reach out to if you need help or assistance. There are so many clubs and sports to choose from. Have fun!

I think it’s a really good school. A lot of the other reviews are bad but those are all from teenagers with nothing else to do and think the world sucks. I’ve been to other schools and this is way better compared to my last school. There are way more options for kids who have special needs or just simple learning disabilities. The anxiety and drama is very low compared to my old school

Hillgrove is an extremely bad school to attend. I used to go to Hillgrove before the stupid name change and I see that the school hasn’t changed. The school is still racist and they only barley care about there minority students. Instead of showing support for other groups they only show support for the lgtbq+ community. I’m not saying that not important but there are other groups besides the lgtbq+ community.
