My Aunt was recently accepted to Edith Cavell Care Centre for long-term care and so far the staff have been supportive and attentive and overall she is happy to be there. Our family has been very pleased and happy she is receiving the care and attention she needs.

Where to start…

The people tasked with caring for our loved ones here, are 5 stars, in professional neglect. They are completely detached from the careers they have chosen. What a shame!

My wife’s grandmother has received nothing but low standards of care. If you can find alternative accommodations for your loved ones, choose that over this facility. Period.

My dad has been in Edith Cavell for about a year after a lengthy hospital stay after a broken hip. We had the option of moving him to another facility, but we are so grateful to have kept him at Edith Cavell. The staff there is phenomenal! Such kind and loving people there. They have taken excellent care of my aging dad. And they are so good to my mom who visits when she can due to the pandemic. The feel is homey and does not feel institutionalized at all. We are so thankful to the amazing staff. It's difficult to see your loved ones decline, but having my dad there in excellent care has brought our family peace.

My Mom recently resided in Edith Cavell Care Centre. Her stay was not long as she was palliative but I was very impressed with the care my Mom received. The staff were also very compassionate & supportive to me during this time and I appreciated that so much.

Three stars on the over worked Housekeeping and a the N/A 's they mostly employ to do all the work while one R/N is MIA.The administration staff seem very reclusive but become very intrusive on first sight of money or feel you our entering their home not your mother's or fathers or family members period.Not at all impressed and will highly not recommend placing your family member in this facility or institution to pass away.
