A couple days before our stay I ended up emailing Egan to ask a couple of questions. They never responded. We were never told about any of the amenities. Not sure if there was even an ice machine. Room was clean though the shower leaked. Stains on the comforter. We had the breakfast and dinner package. The first night the one waitress was rude. She asked what I was going to have for my lets say "protein" then I told her what side I wanted. She replied" I didn't ask you that". I asked you what appetizer you wanted. This was also a person that was training another person for the job. The second night I decided to have the chicken again because of how much I enjoyed it. It was dry and seemed like it was a leftover piece from the day before. Very disappointing. We decided to go for a drive and let our room get tidied up with some clean towels. We arrived back and noticed our door open. So we went for a walk to allow the person to finish. I didn't leave a tip at that point as I didn't have any cash on me . So as we got back I caught her in the hall and I said" hi did you finish our room". She replied no I didn't do your room and thought that makes no sense as she was making her way through each room down the hall. I did end up giving her a tip as my thought was maybe she seen no tip and decided not to finish. I ended up cleaning the room myself and asking her for clean towels and garbage bags. We will not go back very overpriced.

During a recent visit to golf with my wife's family, we had an issue with the weather policies. As visitors to the area, we enquired about their refund and rain check policies. During our initial discussions, we were informed that they do not provide refunds or rain checks.

After follow up from the Resort Management, we were told that this was not the case. A rain check has been issues and the Resort issued an unreserved apology on the service levels that we were provided.

In the end, the Management provided us with a rain check for a future golf game. This certainly imbued us with faith in feedback and the importance of raising concerns with businesses and organizations on customer service.

We believe that the apology and rain check was provided in good faith and are pleased to return to the course and enjoy the course and other amenities of the Resort.

We thank the Golf Management Team for the consideration and customer service excellence.

We stayed there in our boat July 13, 2025. First of all the staff were amazing. They’re really quite friendly and very accommodating. However, we do have to say that there was an issue and they’re accepting big boats. We have a 38 foot boat, 41 feet overall, with a 3‘6“ draft. The little bay that they have you dock in is shallow and I would say that any boat with a dropped over 30 inches should not dock there. We dinged our prop several times just getting out and of course that’s a very expensive stay. The rocks were big not little and we’re on moving. As well, the power, the power post well look like they accommodate a large ride of boats and our seemingly 30 amp circuits, we could barely power 1/2 of our panel with each of the 30 amp connections. I would say the amperage is probably down around 20 A so not very useful as it kept tripping all night even with almost everything shut off. Lastly, the little concrete birth that we tied up in looks like it might provide some break from the waves when they pop up on the water, but if it’s very windy, your boat will be rocking pretty good and you’ll really have to make sure your fenders are laid out properly. That being said it’s a quaint little thing to stop at, the food was delicious, but I would say they would need to dredge their little boat harbour before they can accommodate bigger boats that are 34 feet and longer.

Our family of 18, from 4 year old to grandparents had a wonderful 3 days stay at Eganridge - Dunsford House and a 1 bedroom cottage. The group enjoyed the golf course, the property grounds (played numerous outdoor games provided) and the beach with provided canoes, paddle boards and beach toys as well as towels provided on site. The Stable Pub had great food, drinks and service. The accommodations were excellent and had all the requirements for preparing and serving the meals our whole family brought. Also a good fire pit (wood provided) for relaxing and ,of course making s’mores. We will return.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 1 night stay. We picked this resort to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I have with the room is their tv. We had no idea what each channels were. The food in the pub and dining room were fantastic. We would definitely go back.

Rooms are lovely, views and food are amazing and the service is great.
Our only criticism is the state of the golf course as it isn't watered on the fairways so was dusty and brown. But otherwise we had a great time!

We just returned from a stay at Eganridge Resort, and it was the perfect blend of calm, comfort, and quality. Whether you're there to relax, golf, or enjoy good food, this place truly delivers.

The Room

Our room was absolutely beautiful — spacious, modern, and exceptionally well-kept. The flooring and bed frame featured elegant wood finishes that gave it a warm, upscale feel. The room was also very, very clean — spotless and fresh. We especially loved the jacuzzi tub, which made for a perfect wind-down after a day of activities. And the private balcony with a stunning lake view was a peaceful highlight — ideal for a morning coffee or quiet evening.

Spa Experience

The spa was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We booked a couples massage that was deeply relaxing, and I also tried a lymphatic drainage massage, which left me feeling lighter and recharged. The pedicure was also excellent — very thorough, relaxing, and professional. The spa atmosphere was serene and spotless, making it easy to fully unwind.

Dining

Dinner in The Dining Room was a lovely experience — intimate, scenic, and paired with attentive service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.

We also enjoyed lunch at Stables Sports Bar & Patio downstairs, which had a more laid-back vibe. The pub-style food was satisfying, and the patio made it a great spot to relax after golf.

Golf Course

The golf course was challenging but fun, with a nice variety of holes that required focus and strategy. While there weren’t many lake views during the round, the course itself was peaceful and quiet. Due to a heat wave, the fairways were dry and not as green, but the design and overall experience were still great.

Overall

Eganridge is a fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway. The combination of a beautiful, spotless room, top-notch spa services, quality dining, and enjoyable golf made our stay memorable. We left feeling refreshed and would definitely return — hopefully in cooler weather to enjoy the course at its greenest.
