Had an excellent stay, will be back on my regular business visits.

The owner is quick to point out it's an older place, and it is. But I was very happy to have a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to sleep.

My room was immaculately clean - not a trace of dust or grit anywhere, even where the walls meet the floor. The bathroom was spotless, and the bedding was clean.

I found the bed comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. I didn't use the fridge, microwave, or coffee maker, but they're there if you need them.

Check-in and check-out were quick and friendly. It's not a 5-star hotel of course, but the value far exceeded the very modest price. I'm a happy customer.

Upon checkin we had friendly service. This motel is dated but rooms are clean. Beds are a bit hard for my liking. They let us know when we checked in that they had no housekeeping staff and to just as if we needed anything. No blow dryers or irons in the rooms. Rooms were cheap and we weren't there for vacation or to splurge so it was fine!

I saw terrible reviews of this place but we desperately needed a room in Elk Point. I called the motel & told him that I would really appreciate it if the room was clean. He was very friendly & most accommodating. We had a room with 2 beds on the top floor & the sheets, towels etc were all very fresh & clean. It is an older place but when I asked him to please have it clean, believe me it really was all nice & really clean! very reasonably priced too. I will definitely stay here again!!

Stayed for one night. Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. The only thing I would suggest is to have light at the sides of the bed. Other than that I was happy with the place. Great value for your money. Will stay again!

Very modest motel, but adequate. Tried a standard 2 double beds and a room with a kitchenette. Both rooms had coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge, but the kitchenette room added 2 mini-fridges, stove-top, kitchen sink.

The rooms are clean and get serviced every two day. The three rooms I've seen all showed age. Carpet is old, bedroom comforters disparate (One room had Travelodge Melfort written on it and the other room's comforter had cigarette burns on them)

The owners are nice and welcoming even though they speak a broken/limited English.

Honestly, best price for a hotel in elk point.
When I first walked in the owner told me he didn't have any rooms... looked around and i saw no cars.. so I asked again and explained i was tired from working all day and he said "O you are with company ?" I replied "Yes, (company name) " to which he replied .. " ooooOooo ok ok we have room, but our rooms... not a very good." Good enough I thought! So I replied " im sure it cant be that bad. Ill take it!" So long story short, the guy isnt much of a salesman but the room was decent enough. For the few days I stayed. Found an apartment in town so I checked out. In all, it was a good experience, quite and clean.
O and my 2 cents, pay your hotel bills ladies and Gentlemen (specifically oilfield workers). Dont be what small towns assume we are.

It is good for a quick stay if you have to pull over with no other choice. Stains on the floor the room has a slight musty mouse smell. Bed is soft in my room blankets clean checked for bugs never found any. Last resort

We were in Elk Point on business, and decided we’d support local business and stay in the town. The other motel was all booked up because of a hocked tournament, so we booked here.||When we pulled up, the exterior of the building was pretty shabby looking, so we didn’t have a great feeling. When we went to check in, there were no staff in the office, and we finally had to call the service number to get someone to come to the motel from offsite.||Check in was smooth enough, as we had booked online. We got our keys and went to our rooms, which was a bit of a challenge as there wasn’t much done for snow clearing a path around the parking lot.||When we got to our rooms, we found very flimsy doors and locks, which, as younger women traveling alone, didn’t make us feel that confident. Once we got into the rooms, it was clear that there hadn’t been much in the way of upgrades or maintenance since likely the 70s (except the small flat screen TVs). It was dingy & dated, stuffy and stale smelling.||We ultimately decided that it wasn’t worth it, and our clients suggested we check out immediately & booked us in to a modern hotel in the next town over so we could get a decent nights sleep.
