Went with 3 kids 10-13 we didn’t haunted apartment. The puzzles were easy enough that we were able to sort them out with only a few hints. Not too easy that adults wouldn’t also have fun, the staff was very helpful and accommodating were all looking forward to our next escape.

My husband and I are avid escape room fanatics from the Chicago/Milwaukee area and wanted to try another British Columbian escape room while in the area after a bad experience 6 years ago at another now closed Exit franchisee outside Vancouver that was pretty awful. Thankfully this time went much smoother, we chose the Pirate Cove game and while unfortunately the theme didn't lend itself easily to a lower budget escape room, with enough suspension of disbelief over square "beaches" with no sand leading to "shipwrecks" behind a regular door with an anachronistic digital lock the puzzles all made sense and we progressed at a pretty steady pace. When we finally struggled at the very end and had to use two clues one was because a lock was so fiddly that even though we'd tried to enter the correct combination 10 times it would not unlock and the final code to get out we missed one digit written on one of the clues we'd collected that was difficult to see in the lighting conditions we were under, but we still made it out in time. All the escape rooms down in the US we've done have had extensive camera monitoring where our game master is watching us and will intercom or put up a text message on a monitor if we're for instance struggling with a lock but do indeed have the right combination; this was not like that. If we needed help we had to intercom and wait for the game master come into the room to assist. I did overhear one of the game masters mention to another group that usually they can see everything people are doing in the room but today the cameras were down so maybe it was just technical difficulties that day. In the end for the price it was a reasonably satisfying and fun experience and we plan to do another room with them next time we're in town!

I came here with my brother, sister-in-law, and niece on Sunday.

I was last here in 2015 or 2016 when the staff gave us incorrect info on the locks.

Thankfully this staff gave us good info.

We did the Haunted room which has a 23 percent success rate.

We had a one hour time limit. We escaped with a whopping nineteen minutes remaining. We only needed half a hint out of six hints.

We paid just over $30 per person.

Took my daughter and nephews (20,17,15) tondo the Haunted escape room. They loved it. Lots of fun, would definitely go again.

I thought this would be a fun activity for my staff . We incorporated it as part of our Christmas party evening! It was a blast!!! Great team building event as well! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Always smiling and great service all around. The rooms were well set up and challenging! Definitely recommend !!!

What an overall fantastic experience. Four of us went ladt night as a work outing and had a blast! 2 of us have never been here before and the ladies working were helpful, informative and very friendly. Can't wait to go back!!
