My Daughter attends TKD at this club. She started as a shadow warrior (junior member) and one of the first lessons she was taught was “Never go anywhere alone”. They also taught the kids what to do if grabbed by a stranger. I think every parent should consider this for their children. It’s great for them to learn how to defend themselves in the event your out of reach. She has now been there for a year and looks forward to it every time. She has a great time and she is making some real friends.

Being part of Focus Taekwondo has been an incredible experience. Miss Maund has fostered a culture of disciplined excellence, while at the same time created a fun, family atmosphere. I began martial arts as a 40+ adult and never thought, in my wildest dreams, that I would enjoy it so much and love being part of the Focus TKD family so much! My husband and our children are all here at Focus, and it has given each of us something very special, each at our different ages and abilities. Miss Maund and her impressive Black Belts are dedicated to all the students and are passionate about sharing the practice. I absolutely love this club. I have been attending Focus TKD for just over 2 years and it has only been an positive experience. Ms.Maund is amazing. She has pushed me physically and mentally to do things I never imagined were possible for myself. As Ms. Maund has often stated, "Focus TKD is one big family." From the warm welcome my family has recieved, to my 10 year old daughter training beside me, as well as the new friendships I have gained, Ms. Maund has achieved a fun and family friendly atmosphere to the fullest.

Seven years ago I signed my two young sons(4 & 6 yrs) and my husband up for Focus TKD so they would have an activity together. During that time my boys and husband have developed not only in their skill level but their self-confidence and self-esteem has increased; they have learned what it means to be part of a team and have learned discipline and focus. We have met some incredible people along the way! The family environment is positive and respectful. My youngest son(11yrs) is a Yellow Belt; my oldest son (13yrs) is now a Red Belt on his way to being a Jr. Black Belt; and my husband is now a Second Degree Black Belt. I highly recommend Focus TKD.

Myself, my wife and 2 daughters have been training at Focus Taekwon Do for over 6 years now and we have never looked back. Right from day 1 we felt like we were part of something greater than we could ever imagine, and seeing our daughters growth in Taekwon Do first hand has been a great experience. Our head instructor Miss Aimee Maund has shown us so much about testing our limits and how to exceed them, along with showing us that the whole club is one big family and that Taekwon Do in itself is one giant family of people all training, competing and trying to make the whole a better place.
