The staff here are incredibly friendly and very helpful. There deli pizzas are so good and they will bake them for you while your shopping. The bakery is small but always fresh. The store just keeps improving after all the years I’ve shopped here and very accommodating.

November 2024 UPDATE: I was shopping here recently during a busy time when there was only one staff member at the till. She was doing an excellent job managing the line, handling everything very professionally, but wasn't on a till with a phone handy to call for backup. Then, the owner, who looked visibly displeased as he typically does, came up to the neighboring till with some items to purchase. He called for backup, and when another staff member arrived, he went ahead and checked out in front of the four or five other customers who had been waiting patiently. I feel it would have left a better impression if he had waited his turn, as it seemed a bit inconsiderate to those of us in line.

UPDATE: prices have increased, as they have everywhere. But the prices are higher than other grocery stores for the most part.

Great small town grocery store, fair prices and friendly staff. I always enjoy going in there and chatting with the ladies on the tills!

I love this store! The cashier Chantal is amazing and super quick. Rob and Doug are also great. They all make the shopping experience 10x better!! Will definitely be coming back, worth the trek!

It's nothing crazy just a little gem of a grocery store in the beautiful city of Omemee. You will find everything you need here and a reasonable price. I highly recommend you check out there bakery great fresh treats. The Staff here are very friendly. Don't forget to get your cheese curds here as well 🙂 happy vibes everyone stay safe.

The new franchise manager sucks. He is not friendly at all and I'm not sure if I overheard him screaming at an employee in one of the back offices or what but if someone ever spoke to me like that I certainly wouldn't be working for them anymore. Also I've heard from multiple different sources that the grocery manager assaults the female staff. I'm no longer choosing so support local if it means supporting people like this.
Very disappointed.
The three stars are for the pizza buns. Best ever!! 👌

This establishment has some unfortunate issues regarding the grocery manager. I've heard enough information from relatively valid sources to believe that there is some unwanted inappropriate behavior between him and the staff. Unfortunate that there is no repercussions for this type of behavior in men, especially these days with young women who actively seek out work in these environments. At minimum I hope to see this review start a investigation into their work habits, and perhaps initiate a safety environment for women there.
