I have known Jeff and Michelle for 8 years now.
I have bought a number of guitars and three amplifiers from Jeff. He and his wife are always service oriented and very knowledgable in products. I do like their good humour and interest in my abilities. His guitar teacher, Tammay is exceptional and is always my mentor and look forward to lessons every week for the past three years.

Awesome place! Great selection, always. We felt lucky to have that guitar store growing up.

From Fenders to Ibanez to Gibson to Jackson, this place has tons of cool practice, studio and performance amps, makes, models and there's lots of good one's to look at. Good place to kill 45 minutes.

I LOVE this Store and the people who run it!! I was there this past Saturday and met Michelle for the first time. What an amazing Person! I've been several times - but this was my first time meeting Jeff's wife Michelle. Kind, Courteous, Knowledgeable and SO Very Helpful!! We are so Blessed and Fortunate to have this caliber of store in Orillia!! I just moved here 3 years ago from Toronto - and Gilbert Guitars is a true Gem! - ...that ALL of us musicians can enjoy and be PROUD of in having them in our Community! Highly Recommend!!

Paid $100 dollars for a setup and restring on my guitar (after bringing my own Elixir strings to restring with to save on cost). My supplied strings were 'missed' which lead to the high cost... attention to detail... I was a regular customer but I plan to just go to the Gravenhurst L&M going forward
