Many teachers at the school can't speak proper English, and their pronunciation is terrible. A lot of kids can't understand them. My child came home one day saying ''bus'' as ''bose''........
And the school is also dirty; they never disinfect or clean the toys, chairs, and tables. My child is sick half the time after going to the preschool/daycare. I wouldn't recommend this place. I'm sure there are many better options, so no need to waste your money here.

The most important things we were looking for in a preschool is where our child could be appreciated for all of her good qualities and grow and learn in a loving environment. Global child Montessori preschool absolutely meets these expectations. We are grateful every day we made the move to this preschool.
My kid command of the language of the English language improved and she is really happy being in the school.
We have been pleased with the level of care the staffs has provided for our kid and she used to tell me she love Amber , Gloria and Christine teachers. We researched many preschool in the St.Albert area and selected this school because of high quality Montessori preschool education program.

We chose Global Child Montessori for our 3-year-old son after we heard great things about it! At that point, we were just looking for a decent school, where he can learn how to interact with other kids and get ready for kindergarten. After two years attending Global Montessori, I can say that it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made for our son. Global Montessori is much more than a playschool! It’s a second home for my son and myself as well. My son enjoyed every aspect of it and I could tell from the stories he told, the knowledge he brought home and the friends he’s made.
On the academic level, my son has had the opportunity to learn about things he loves and curious about at a very young age such as music, animals and nature! He is now so good with numbers and already knows about Canada and some other counties in the world, and much more! We as parents were amazed by the teachers’ effort and passion to teach our kids! So thankful for Ms. Gloria, Ms. Amber, Ms. Christine, Ms. Claudia, and Ms. Valerie. In two years, I’ll be sending my one-year-old daughter to Global Montessori.

I really appreciated the kindness & professionalism Aja and the lovely lady with the brown curly hair (sorry I forgot her name) showed during Nation's brief experience at GCM. Aja was especially good to give me encouraging words about what my son is excelling in and what he is enjoying/working on. She was sensitive in her approach when nate would have some challenges, and she was always checking in with me to make sure I received the pictures being sent out of my son working away/having fun. If these ladies ran the place, it would be perfect.

Amber and Gloria, though I will acknowledge they made their efforts with nate in their own way, were on numerous occasions unprofessional with their wording when addressing their challenges with nation, and at one point, gloria was venting to amber about me, shortly after I spoke with gloria. They were maybe 7 or 8 feet away from me. Clearly they didn't think I could hear the conversation. I had my son attend the preschool from september to end of january. I started phasing my son out in february (to which gloria literally cheered instead of asking what went wrong); and once my son said he liked the teacher better at his new school and wanted to attend there more, I knew it time to leave. The whole experience was surreal and made us feel like outsiders. I always felt like amber and gloria talk about nation like he was a nuissance. Making worse case scenario comments like "I guess we can't even tell you to hold him back another year... given his birthday  we *have* to make sure he's ready for kindergarten." Or "We're doing scizzors next week so we'll *see* how that goes (with a sarcastic dreaded tone)". The comments were endless. I did approach both of them at one point to address it and though gloria was receptive enough, amber was defensive. They did both make their own efforts to improve, but the unprofessional comments came tricling back by the new year. I have spoken to another mother whose son attends, and she said she had the same problem with amber and the way she dealt with her son when issues arose. I do not believe these two teachers are bad individuals, but I do believe my son didn't fit into the "normal kid box" that they were accustomed to, so they in some ways wrote him off. I can give examples of how gloria told me she would just do things for nate cause he "took too long" to do it but I have already written so much...I cannot in good conscience recommend this school to anyone, as it seems ok if your kid never has any issues personally or relationally, but after our experience and my friend's testimony of her experience, I say stay away.

This is my son’s second year at Global Child Montessori , this is definitely the best school! The staff ( Miss Gloria, Miss Amber and Miss Christine ) always welcomed my son with a very warm, loving and caring atmosphere. Even me as a mother , I was treated as a family member. My son grew every single day academically and socially, the program this school has is outstanding. From the minute he entered school to the minute he was dismissed, he has learned new skills and new methods, he would come back home full of joy and excitement and most importantly confident about himself . Thank you Global Child Montessori for being a second home , the best decision I’ve made ! We are definitely gonna miss this place ! Xoxo

This is such an AMAZING school! They are so patient with my extremely high energy, high needs child. They have worked closely with my child’s Doctor to get the proper care and plan based on his needs. He has come leaps and bounds with his patience and temperament ALL because of them! They offer a calm and nurturing learning environment. He actually begs to go the school everyday! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this school. I can’t wait until my youngest is old enough attend!

As a retired Montessori trained teacher, I can honestly attest that this is truly THE ONLY Montessori program in St. Albert. We had visited another Montessori school in St. Albert and were very disappointed to see that it was staged well, but the children were not using the materials appropriately, if at all. Global child challenges my grandchildren in a fun and loving way. My 4 year old grandson is reading phonetic books, and we are all amazed at the things he is learning! Love this place!

We love this preschool for our daughter!! The owner and teachers are all so kind and the kids learn a variety of subjects and lessons that I wouldn’t think to introduce to her. The school is clean and we know our daughter is safe and having a blast when we drop her off. Highly recommend and can’t wait for our youngest to attend in a few years!!
