The Burundi coffee served here is a gourmet experience. The owner imports this coffee directly from this central Africa country and, please trust me, the flavor is unique. I ordered a small size coffee and was about to add sugar when Bill (the owner) asked me to try without sugar ...OMG...OMG...OMG... is all I have to say. Please make this a mandatory destination for your coffee in Deep River. It deserves a ride from Petawawa, Pembroke and else..prices are right.
The 5 stars I'm giving for food are for the exquisite coffee, I didn't have the chance to try food...perhaps, very likely, next time...

We discovered this little café while visiting deep River. The owner was very friendly and provided very good service. The coffee was tasty and they also serve breakfast sandwiches. The unique element to this little quaint Café is the art collection, mainly from Africa and Canada. Very unique pieces.. I found a very beautiful piece of Inuit soapstone, which was reasonably priced. It’s worth dropping in to take a look. Great find.

Delicious Berundian coffee. I visited before the formal.gramd opening so, at that time, the food options were limited. Art work also for sale. Worth a stop in.

Fantastic Coffee, plenty of pastry and doughnut options, My wife and I have had the mac and chess and the soup as well, both were excellent. The owner is great and I look forward to coming back! All the art is very interesting

What a delightful surprise! A totally unpretentious interior in an unexpected location with great egg-salad sandwiches (lots of egg salad and lettuce) and a wonderful collection of African and First People’s Art.

Spending the weekend in Deep River and I was so happy to find this unexpected gem. Great coffee right from the farm, beautiful artwork and jewelery, and great service! Will definetly be back anytime I'm passing through.
